- This is a "one size fits all tabs" extension and does not let you customise the brightness level for individual sites. The extension is either On or Off and the one brightness level applies to all or nothing, unfortunately.

- Today, the extension stopped working without a paid subscription. It was free previously, and the description page doesn't appear to have the requirement for a subscription clearly communicated at the time of this review. For the time I had it while it was free, it worked okay enough for my personal use case despite a few bugs, such as adjusting the dimming level sometimes causing the screen to go back to normal brightness until I toggled it off and on again. So, this is a "I could recommend this as a free extension but not as a paid one" situation.

- Found this extension the best I have used. As an old person my eyes are vert sensitive to bright lights, so I use this all the time even when I have set my system to dark mode. I find it help me a lot. --- The only improvement I would suggest is to allow people to save your settings per website or application you are viewing.
