- (2017-04-01) Lindsay Cughan: I notice others have had trouble using this app. Keep in mind the use of your webcam can only occur by ONE app at a time. So maybe the trouble comes from the webcam being used by another program? I know this app won't open fully and show the mirror if I already have my webcam app open. I use this app frequently, however the quality isn't the greatest. The fact that you can look at yourself as if your looking in a real mirror is a unique feature unlike a webcam app which is difficult to use in the same aspect. Notice your eyes are looking away from the screen when you are looking directly at it? That's why you can't just use a webcam to get the same results, trust me when I say its a bit irritating to look at a screen and have your eyes looking off to the side. This benefit is why I don't just use my webcam (which has better resolution but doesn't have the full screen option) Not bad for a free app, but would like better resolution for detailed tasks like plucking eyebrows etc.
