  • (2020-08-22) Cassandra H: Stating it is free is misrepresentation, as you cannot save or print without purchasing the app. Would not recommend.
  • (2020-02-02) Leon Brooks: Kiss a once great free application suite goodbye. Nobody wants a cloud scam. It's either free or not.
  • (2019-07-15) David Null: This SUCKS. Cannot save or print without upgrading. This is something that should have been made clear before downloading.
  • (2018-11-28) linda G: could be good..BUT IT DOESNT ALLOW YOU TO SAVE YOUR WORK!!!!! UPGRADE TO DO THAT SO KIND OF A BIT SILLY TO SAY ITS FREE... FREE TO PLAY THATS IT
  • (2018-08-01) Colleen Cote: how do I get rid of this crap?
  • (2018-05-31) Tianni Clinton: It's truly horrible and it won't allow me to delete it.
  • (2018-03-26) Jerrold Lewis: Garbage. Freezes constantly on my Pixelbook 2
  • (2017-09-08) DorianDotSlash: Don't waste your time if you plan to do any real work. It's basically a very slow remote desktop connection. It's unrealiable, doesn't always save your files, you need to sign up to use it, and they ask you to pay more for a "better faster connection". Also can't use this offline. Waste of time.
  • (2017-03-29) Van Krikorian: will not open
  • (2017-01-27) Kiba Elunal: I'm not entirely sure if I just got lucky or if they fixed the app a lot since starting. Basically, Google Docs isn't able to format my full length novel properly for self publication, so I open the file in the App, five minutes later, it's formatted perfectly, I export it as a PDF and done. Thus far I've gotten no emails (save one thanking me), no requests for money, nothing like some of the other complaints I've read. For we writers on a budget, it's a good choice. I wouldn't use it for the actual writing of the manuscript, but for the editing I'd give it a 8/10. Every now and then it'd freeze up on me (particularly when trying to do the page numbers) but I'd just right click, open new tab, and it'd be right as rain again. You can't use it offline, but it served the purpose I needed it to and honestly that's all I really need from it anyway.
  • (2016-12-26) Levy Vicente: Unable to use to paste my Language. Stupid.
  • (2016-10-11) jv: Wow.. first it was cool but now you need to pay 7,- a month to save something on google drive.... not cool bro make it fre again please.
  • (2016-10-06) Adam Thomas: Should be banned as a cheap net con job! Chrome needs a place to complain to about these shonky things - luckily rare here!
  • (2016-09-05) Chrissie Idk: It sucks
  • (2016-08-28) Brett Buffalo: "Something went wrong" during sign up.
  • (2016-08-13) Peggy Bell: The functionality was fine, but it kept causing my Chrome browser to crash. It also ran very slow. I used it because I needed to be able to see the Non-Printable characters while editing my resume since I'm using a Chromebook and Google Drive doesn't have that feature (nor does Microsoft Word Online). For that it worked great. Luckily that's all I needed it for and deleted it after use. Since I've deleted it, I've not had my tabs crash out on me.
  • (2016-08-10) Mark Graham: A rel sucky program!
  • (2016-06-15) Schralenberger: A trick to get you to pay for something free, poorly ported. Pay for something worth it, or use a text editor.
  • (2016-05-29) How about intergration with Zotero/Mendeley/EndNotes? Crucial for word processing apps.
  • (2016-05-21) Nathan Hunter: ROLLAPP!?!? Thieves with a fancy name. Why the hell would anyone PAY for something that's free?!
  • (2016-05-20) Wayne Barnes: Just does not work well!
  • (2016-05-20) ariceptist 48: very free handy tool
  • (2016-05-13) Patricia Coon: I used this to lay out a transcript. It saved in my drive as the template I started with. Days of work lost forever if I'd relied on Open Office! So glad I printed it first.
  • (2016-05-10) John Martin: OpenOffice is free... but use it as an app and get a 14 day TRIAL.... WUT? STUPID.
  • (2016-05-07) Balagopal R: ff
  • (2016-05-04) Thom: Lots of planted user reviews. This app truly sucks. Wait until Open Office gets around to formatting the FREE product for Chrome or move to another OS...
  • (2016-04-22) Airin Brown: I can't use odt files on chromebook so I got this app but I can't use my odt files from my usb with this app. Unless I put my files on the cloud.. can't I just use my usb? This is a waste of my time.
  • (2016-04-21) ashshe min: what the heck i do not like it at all 8(
  • (2015-12-19) Jon & Leaetta Wacker: Too quirky. UI is about 20 years behind current best practices. Also found the file management system buggy and primitive.
  • (2015-12-11) Ozell Howes: This is the worst POS ever created to beleaguer writers of any kind of document. It constantly glitches, fails to save, and you can only use it when connected to the internet. Several times already it has failed to save the complete document I've spent hours working on. Worst of all it doesn't allow you to copy text from this program and paste it anywhere else. Whatever simple minded individual created this absolute absurdity should be fined extensively for crimes against humanity.
  • (2015-12-07) Steph M (Psykogrl): It took forever to open anything, and wouldn't link to any of my file folders where I wanted documents to save
  • (2015-11-19) Jessica Arena Ascher: Spammed me incessantly - and didn't include an unsubscribe link until the 5th email. When I emailed their support address, it bounced back. They literally emailed for every single insignificant thing - even to tell me the program had closed. You think I can't figure that out without an email? Right. You just want to harass me.
  • (2015-11-09) theo: I cannot type anything. This app is terrible, writing this review was faster than trying to change the font.
  • (2015-10-13) Lydia Dirckshineider: good
  • (2015-10-13) Nichelle Penney: Spent two hours on a document only to find it froze, couldn't save, and lost everything.
  • (2015-10-12) Gabriel Piemonte: DO NOT USE THIS APP. It is a total mess. I did not have an English language dictionary installed on my version - I don't know why. I could not get it to install. As a result, the entire document was red squiggles. It crashes if you try to have more than one doc open. The paste function is completely unreliable. It alternates between a previous item copied to the clipboard and the current one. I don't know how much of this is a result of usingit on a Chromebook but BEWARE OF THIS PRODUCT
  • (2015-10-10) Denis Palmer: keystroke locks up the application and every thing is lost,,, poor at best cut and paste not functional, as most productivity programs on Chrome this is very very bad at best
  • (2015-10-08) Hobert Hall: Use this OpenOffice for years great app or software.
  • (2015-09-02) Adam G: Can't save without premium trap. Only tells you that after you link up your account and destroy your privacy. Worthless. Can't even save it locally without premium. Only export a PDF. Worthless. Not use again. Interface seemed promising.
  • (2015-07-26) Cida Vasconcelos: ok
  • (2015-06-20) Cristina Longoria: I really like it for people how have to do homework and copy some notes soo
  • (2015-06-06) Aikaw Rung: Great!
  • (2015-06-04) Toni Walker: love it so helpfulllllllll. lol
  • (2015-05-12) Mansoor Rashti: perfect anywhere and free
  • (2015-05-05) Jakub GaƂkowski: Works VERY slowly, I mean VERY... you can't do a simple thing!
  • (2015-04-20) Cody Hildebrand: Not optimal
  • (2015-03-07) Richard Seigel: I had a different experience from many here, although I need to admit I have not used it that much as yet. The main thing I like so far is the ability to read and write directly to my Dropbox files, which is a major bonus for me. I realize I can do that via Google docs by uploading the file later, but this was faster and much simpler. I have tried reading and writing basic Word and Excel files to and from this app and have not experienced any crashes or other problems. Main drawbacks are (a) the fonts look ugly on my Dell CB and (b) the file formats for writing back to Dropbox are older formats that require conversion when opening in Office 2013. That is why I gave this 4 stars
  • (2015-01-01) Kevin Berney: Must be one of the worst so-called Office products on the market. I downloaded it as it said it could run off-line - No it does not.
  • (2014-12-29) Michael Kolozsvari: Chose this application because it said it ran offline. However, I didn't save before closing my Chromebook. It seems that this App needs at least some connection to the Server. Can see my text on the screen, but a message, "Application has closed. Application not running on the server anymore" keeps me from getting access.
  • (2014-12-26) Daniel Stephens: It does not have many normal fonts such as Arial of Trebuchet.
