Thousands of self-learners all over the world use LinguaLift to learn how to speak, read and write Japanese, Russian, Hebrew and French.
Enabling you to learn more effectively. That is the goal of our language learning platform. LinguaLift guides you from scratch to fluency, but allows you complete control over when and how fast you learn. You’re behind the wheel.
# The days of boring textbooks are over.
Textbooks are good. They are the most effective way to understand how a language works. Unfortunately, they're also boring, heavy and stuck in the previous century. We decided to change that and made an E-Textbook that is fun, engaging, and interactive.
# We'll guide you from scratch to fluency.
Every language is different, and we treat them as such. When we decide to launch a new language, we find the best teachers in the industry, and before we write a single line of code, we spend thousands of hours thinking about how best to teach what makes that particular language special.
# Our SRS algorithm makes forgetting difficult.
You rote learn vocab for hours. Next week—you don't remember any of it. We've all been there. LinguaLift is built on a scientifically-proven spaced repetition system that makes sure you never forget. Read about it in Wired magazine.

- (2019-04-17) Clarissa Zabel: I've been using LinguaLift for a while now (by recommendation of a YouTuber) and I really love it so far! Their way of teaching really suits my way of learning, they tell little stories along the line and this makes remembering everything much easier! Now every time I see something that I know I learned about with LinguaLift, I immediately remember the story and the background of it and I remember what it's called - it feels great to feel like you've learned something!
- (2019-01-29) You not only learn Japanese but also learn about the culture and how things are like in Japan. If there are any lingering questions there will always be a response and it's a new and fun way of learning a language!

- (2018-08-29) Daniel Kerscher: I really like how they work, they explain everything without getting boring, like School. And one of the best things is that they have actcual teachers you can talk to and they awnser all your Questions, and you can even practice with them.
- (2018-08-20) Cheese: Defiantly the best way to learn Japanese. Not only is it fun and because of that it's easier to learn, but it also teaches you the culture of Japan which is extremely useful.

- (2018-03-08) Sncr Rpnt: Nice app for learning Japanese. Especially,I like the way how they integrate information about Japanese culture and many other things related to Japan with learning. I usually don't like learning by just reading but somehow in the case of LinguaLift it has turned out to be quite different.
- (2018-03-07) Patrick Corsi: great method!
- (2018-01-29) Alex Wong: Modern way of teaching. Instead of good old way of teaching method, LinguaLift teaches by storey telling which suites me best!!
- (2017-11-23) Emily Woo: It is very helpful to those who would like to learn Japanese... I'm taking Japanese and I find it more helpful then all the language (online) courses I've taken. The prices might be a little to high, but it's a definite great use of your money and time to learn. There are real people who you can communicate and get help from. They and the course would explain the use of grammar and culture through the lesson. It offers you new information that you would never have knew or never would have known. Lingualift is a great use of your time, and is going to be very helpful for learning a language. I highly recommend this app/website.
- (2017-09-28) Xspearterrax: A vert great way to learn a language you want, its very user friendly and simple.
- (2017-09-22) Julia Hartmann: It is really a fun and engaging way to learn Japanese. I love the fact that you can practise vocabulary online and that they explain grammar and cultural matters in detail. I am not a native English-speaking person, but I can go through everything without problems. And you can always ask their support team!
- (2017-07-25) Muhamed Trumic: It's very interesting way to learn. I recommend this platform for someone who can pay subscription because of its design and first of all the way of learning languages, its interesting.
- (2017-07-24) Katrine Linderoth: I think it´s good and it isn´t too much information in one go. I highly recommend it
- (2017-07-23) Joseph Graham: Everything about the app is perfect. It is a little expensive but if you want to learn it is definitely worth it.
- (2017-07-17) tracie wamsley: I love this site! They really know how to help you learn. It's a bit pricey but very worth, especially if you do it for a year. Only downside is that the mobile "app" can be slow.
- (2017-07-11) Claud: In the short time I've been on LinguaLift, I've seen how every single detail on the platform contributes to make the experience of learning an easy and warm one. The format of integrating cultural tidbits with language learning helps in retaining concepts mentally. For anyone with money to spend on a subscription, I would recommend this platform. Two comments, though: I hope their support team would be quicker to revert to inquiries. And I hope the platform becomes more optimized on mobile.
- (2017-05-30) Alex Syi: LinguaLift is a well learning experience, however other than that Lingual Lift tests, explains, and offers you information on new or related subjects in Japan. For example,I learned the busiest train station was the Shinjuku Station that made it in the World Genius Book of Record. I am grateful as well as dedicated to the program. Try it out and explore it as I did. Thank you, Alex S.
- (2017-05-22) Dylan (Tskken): I have been using this services for over a year and I would recommend it to anyone who needs a good and relatively cheep option to learn a language. They may only offer a few languages (I have been trying to learn Japanese mys elf) but the ones they offer are done very very well. If you are looking to learn one of the languages they offer I would highly recommend spending your money on this services over its other competitors.
- (2017-05-15) Arnor Gaming: Realy good site for learning langugaes like Japnese and Russian not to mantion it can be completly free if you dont have much money to spend. They have realy understandable lessions and easy to learn.Love it! <3
- (2017-05-02) Murtaza Haidary: A vert great way to learn a language you want.
- (2017-04-21) Matthew H: So I've been using LinguaLift to learn Japanese for about 2 months now. Overall I am very happy with what I've received for the money I've paid. I feel that the content is laid out in a great manner and has really helped me get excited about learning Japanese. Teaching you how to understand hiragana and katakana first is an excellent idea as now I'm able to read out loud sentences in Japanese. I have no idea what I've said (yet) but I'm at least getting to practice pronunciation and I'm having fun while doing so. There are a few hiccups that I've noticed though. The web page loading was very slow when I first joined. It has significantly improved recently though. There are some phrases and words that have audio buttons next to them but no audio attached to those buttons. I mentioned this to one of the people at LingaLift and they responded saying they're aware of the missing audio files and are actively working to bring them back. Responses from the people working at LingaLift are pretty consistent. I can expect a response roughly 24 hrs after I ask a question or provide a response of my own which is completely within an acceptable timeframe given likely timezone differences. Overall I think LingaLift is worth your money. The issues that I've experiences, while annoying and at times downright frustrating, are things that they seem to be actively working to fix and have not directly prevented me from being able to use the application.
- (2017-04-19) Matthew: I enjoy using this program for Japanese. I learn Japanese that is usable in day to day life and not the typical textbook Japanese. You can also review what you have learned and even go back to old leasons if you wish
- (2017-04-17) Jon Olafsson: There is so much content. If you love learning, Lingualift will deliver more knowledge than you can imagine. Tons of cultural insight and explanations for why grammar is the way it is. The explanations are brief enough and the pacing of the software is just right to keep you invested.
- (2017-04-16) Sean Wojcik: What you put into it is what get out of it. Period. Been through many Russian classes, workbooks, etc. However, even the grammar book for Russian is by faaaaaaar better than anything I got out my region's college. Take you time. Be patient.
- (2017-04-14) Frederik Skovhus Galland: i've been using lingualift for about five months now, and i'm now more than capable of keeping a conversation going in japanese. unfortunately, some of the audio won't play, which sucks.
- (2017-04-12) Caneles: I tried and completed their trial course and planning to subscribe for a full course. Their lessons are better than I thought, easy to understand, fun and definitely not boring. They send you quick and small reviews from time to time to help you recall what you learned which is a nice boon. Give their program a try, no regret.
- (2017-03-15) Melysa Acevedo: Clear instructions and direction, without hand-holding! I'm very impressed with the level of interaction I had with real people. I'm hoping to use this service regularly in the future.
- (2017-03-13) Coltin Carboni: LinguaLift has proven to be a very useful learning source and I highly recommend it.
- (2017-03-12) Fosliq: love the unique way they teach
- (2017-02-28) Jarrett Parr: As a disclaimer, I will note that my time with this program has only been about a month so far, but in that time, I've learned more than I ever could have imagined. I've tried using a few other tools to learn languages before, but nothing has worked for me quiet like LinguaLift has! My study sessions have become something I look forward to everyday and have continually become more and more educational. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in learning a language provided by the program, and if you're on the fence about it, I encourage you to at the least give it a shot!
- (2017-02-04) Duncan Ryan: I honestly think that Lingualift is a big part of the future of language learning. For a relatively low monthly price, you can learn a language with daily lessons and useful resources. So far, I'm loving the site's course in the Russian language, and have very little doubt that I'll be able to achieve whatever degree of aptitude I want with the language using Lingualift. Very highly recommended!
- (2017-01-12) Kamilium: So I have been using this site for about four months or five months. And I have learned so much! But there's a huge problem, I learned so much from the old Lingualift. They recently made changes to the site and now it is very slow sometimes and more than 85% of the audio files won't work. So I end up copying text and putting it into google translate to see how it's pronounced... and we all know how accurate google translate is.. So I don't even get what a I paid for. And another thing is before they changed the site up and I wanted to temporarily cancel my subscription they didn't respond until I had to pay again. Very poor service in that area. So in my opinion this this Lingualift program leaves a lot to be desired.. Not to mention they recently just stopped talking to me. The Japanese teacher stopped helping me out with my studies and the other two people who are ever active on that site won't answer my questions either. I know they're only human but is it really worth paying around four hundred dollars a year or 29 dollars a month to get this lack luster product? I just don't think so. Before the whole site change I'd give it a 4 or a 4.5 star rating but now a 2.5 or 3 :/
- (2016-12-29) Vonnie B: A few years ago I tried the trial for this site and found it super easy to follow, efficient, fun and engaging. For me, it's a great learning experience, the layout is great and the staff are very helpful and responsive. I would definitely recommend giving it a go.
- (2016-12-17) Paige Young: Currently only Level 1 is available, there is no transparency about this in the introductory material before you subscribe when I chatted with Tutor Ollie about this he refused to address and told me that I should "spend more time studying and less time complaining." Very low level of trust in this product as it is now.
- (2016-11-06) xI am Damagedx: Great for learning other languages! The Japanese classes are interesting and the "Cake" is awesome, it introduced me and my friends to a Japanese song called PONPONPON which is great!
- (2016-10-21) Mikey Gee: What can I say, I am so happy that I found this website/app. I am learning japanese right now and I'm having a blast! =D The casual but precise way grammar is taught is really fun. Instant messaging with the team or the "PERSONAL TUTOR" is simply amazing and the response time with less then 24h is astonishing! There are no robots here, I promise ;)
- (2016-10-16) Rana Nada: It's one of the greatest websites for language learners! It's helped me so much :D
- (2016-10-15) Nintendo Gamer: Great Site, Totally Recommend it.
- (2016-10-08) Rhos XX (leannansithe): I recommend it; the staff are very supportive and prompt with replies. The lessons are in short enough segments that I don't get distracted, but they are thorough. I also like the cultural notes scattered throughout. I fully intend to subscribe once my free trial ends.
- (2016-10-07) The way LinguaLift is formatted makes it really easy to learn a huge amount of things in a short time period. The lessons are very efficient and make it easy to memorize new vocabulary
