Image from store Logitech Unifying for Chrome
Description from store You no longer need a different receiver for each device. For example, you may have a keyboard and mouse at home, other devices at work, and a mobile mouse when you’re on the go – all can be connected to the same Logitech Unifying receiver and be instantly ready to use. Add devices to your Unifying receiver. This software will allow you to add or remove compatible mice, keyboards and other devices to your unifying receiver. The tiny receiver stays plugged in. Because the Unifying receiver is so small, you can leave it permanently plugged into your notebook and it only uses one USB port, so you’ll have ports free for other things. Supported platforms: Chrome OS, Mac OS, Windows Not officially supported: Linux

  • (2025-02-04) Amanda González: Took like 3 seconds to pair my mouse on the first try, once I finally found, downloaded, and opened the app.
  • (2025-01-24) Ricardo Reyes: does exactly the opposite of what it says it will do - so it doesn't do anything.
  • (2024-12-09) Brandon Tate: This app will not recognize the newer Logi Bolt Receivers. I was able to use the Logi Web Connect app from the Play Store to pair my MX keyboard with the receiver I have for my Logi wireless mouse. Logi Web Connect has a low number of downloads but I decided to give it a try and it worked like a charm! I'm assuming this Unifying for Chrome app still works well for older receivers but giving only 4 stars as it should at least include messaging about not being compatible with the newer receivers.
  • (2024-10-30) Adam: Just what I needed to pair the receiver with my logitech mouse on my Chromebook. Easy peasy once you eventually track down this app, Thank you!
  • (2024-06-15) Orman Beckles: Oh my goodness, thank you so much! I've got about five mice and a bunch of dongles, and it's like playing Where's Waldo every time I need one. Now I can just grab one dongle and go! It’s like the tech gods heard my prayers! This is amazing, especially since I use a Chromebook and didn't have to switch to a Windows computer. Seriously, thank you so, so much!
  • (2024-05-04) Chris Dart: Have M705 mouse, long dead, corroded batteries - not a happy mouse! Have K270 keyboard, also dead. Cleaned mouse terminals, new batteries in both, ran Logitech software on Chromebook - everything works!! Will use keyboard and mouse for my Pi 5!!! Have 3 dongles, keyboard responded to one, mouse did not initially respond to any.
  • (2024-04-26) Luke Anderson: great app pared instantly
  • (2024-01-31) Ana Sarmiento: super simple, easy once you download the unify app the step by step guide is grate.
  • (2024-01-28) Lisa E: In response to Scott J. Hopkins' post. I also have the Lenovo 330 Chromebook and use the Logitech 780 keyboard and M525 mouse. I just replaced the Chromebook with the same model a few weeks ago. (Keyboard and mouse paired correctly to original Chromebook.) In setting up new 330, I am able to pair the keyboard, but not the mouse. Having the same issue you are, however, once I start the 330, if I remove the unifying dongle and then insert it again, my mouse works even though it does not appear as a connected bluetooth device. Not the most convenient and hoping this gets fixed soon, but an acceptable workaround for now.
  • (2024-01-28) Scott J. Hopkins: Logitech M325 / Unified just stopped working on my Lenovo C330 Chromebook. Worked great up until a week ago, then just stopped loading up. Have removed the extension from Chrome and re-added. Still not working. Logitech, Lenovo, Google, fix this issue!
  • (2023-10-29) Devon M.: I got a Logitech M705 Marathon Mouse from Goodwill with the new Logitech logo on it. It came with a Unifying Receiver that had the old Logitech logo on it. When I tried to see if it works, the mouse wasn't connecting. No button and cursor response. I knew the batteries were brand new and had to find solutions. I downloaded this software (first found it out from the Logitech support page) and downloaded it. I went through the pairing process AND IT WORKED! Now I can use the mouse, and it works great The software I used was Chrome OS, it is on a HP Chromebook which is from 2013.
  • (2023-10-24) John Horton: This extension was very useful, especially where you couldn't install the actual unifying app, but now for some reason they've ended support for it which is why it's not working.
  • (2023-08-14) Andrew Capps: Doesn't launch anymore, used to work great
  • (2023-03-27) Harrison Pye: Doesn't work on Mac post December 2022 it states after downloading. Sort it out Logitech.

  • (2023-02-04) Luca Marzolino: IT DIDNT EVEN WORK WHAT THE HECK DOES IT MEAN BY RECEVERS?
  • (2023-01-04) Stephen Supoyo: I can finally use my mouse on two different receivers!
  • (2022-11-12) belg4mit: Does the basics. But would very much appreciate the ability to remap the up and down buttons. PgUp and PgDn are infinitely more useful than forward and backward in history to prevent finger strain from the scroll wheel.
  • (2022-09-15) Angelo Alexander: Surprisingly worked on Chrome on a Windows laptop to setup a mouse on a unifying receiver. Very surprising!
  • (2022-02-22) random stuff: dosent work my mouse wont show up complete waste of money
  • (2021-12-05) Erik Gabrielsson: Does not recognize that there is a unifying receiver plugged in.
  • (2021-11-09) Eli Bass: I can't install apps and was able to install this via chrome to get my keyboard and mouse up and running.
  • (2021-10-12) Fritz Freund: Works as designed. Just wish we had the options and flow ability.
  • (2021-09-09) Douglas Psulkowski: This was a great workaround for my work laptop, which has restrictions on installing apps. Installing Chrome extensions is no problem however, and it allowed me to re-link my logitech mouse and unifying receiver!
  • (2021-07-10) Brittany Lowery: Connected right away. Easy software to install and works on chromebook!!!! Pleased so far.
  • (2021-06-20) Fred McCord: I was having trouble pairing my mx anywhere 3 mouse. I finally found an article that referred Logitech Unifying for Chrome. It took 3 tries before it paired. But on the 3rd try it paired. I am very pleased with the results.
  • (2021-06-14) Jeffrey Johnson: Chromebook, forget it.

  • (2021-02-01) Ivaylo Popov: Just works!
  • (2021-01-30) Antonio Pastor: Needed to add a device to an existing receiver. We run linux on our laptops so I was fearing this would be an ordeal. We have an ancient laptop with CloudReady. On ChromeOS the app worked perfectly in advanced mode. Easy mode did nothing but honestly the advanced mode is beyond simple and is all that you should really need.
  • (2020-12-14) zane apatoff: This is the best app for my M705 marathon! as if i will love to add new devices in the feature!
  • (2020-12-14) Nathan Piechocki: Had a handful of old 325C mice with mixed up/lost/unoriginal USB receivers. They were otherwise useless. Looked this up, and within 20 seconds, I had it downloaded to my Chromebook, it detected the mouse, and paired it to the receiver plugged in. Easy peasy.
  • (2020-11-02) Aur: Not working since a chrome update.
  • (2020-09-26) Candace C: I have multiple usb ports keyboards and mice laying around. Ive brought more wireless sets than i care to admit. Somehow they all end up separated not connected and I can never keep the usb with the keyboard/mouse. Looked online before making yet another trip to Target for a new keyboard and found this software. Within 5 minutes keyboard and mouse were connected and I dont have to type on my laptop. What a lifesaver.
  • (2020-09-21) JJ: Being a linux user there is no easier way to get all of my Logitech peripherals to pair with my receiver - It's fast and has never failed me in the 5+ years of using it. It's one of those little extensions that works and would be a nightmare if it suddenly disappeared one day.
  • (2020-09-07) Samson Lau: great, fix my problem since I cant install the exe in my company computer
  • (2020-08-21) Jennifer Del Castillo: No issues being able to utilize this app to connect a M705 mouse and a K360 keyboard. Works great.
  • (2020-08-20) Maxwell Bloch: Essential Chrome OS software.
  • (2020-08-14) Jarrett Burch: Logitech wireless are beginning to seem like questionable tech. Took several attempts to get the receiver and device to work on Windows OS and hardware, and doesn't work at all the Chromebook. Similar problem with more than one wireless kit.
  • (2020-08-12) Diana Weber: I bought a replacement keyboard but without admin rights on my work laptop I wasn't able to install Logitech's software. This was a quick, easy way to use the unifying receiver for my existing mouse and new keyboard.
  • (2020-07-13) William Wang: It makes my life easier, thanks
  • (2020-03-15) Eugene Thomas Schlarman: On my chromebook,it sl-o-w-l-y scrolls, won't program buttons on line. Junk. Its being returned.
  • (2020-03-11) William (Billy) Furr: Works great and let me pair my K800 keyboard with the receiver for my M705 mouse in seconds. I'm impressed this works on ChromeOS; I thought for sure I was going to have to find a Windows computer to do it.
  • (2020-01-14) John Mancuso: Love this! My work computer is locked (no admin rights) so this is a great way to add/remove peripherals! Thanks!
  • (2020-01-02) Rachelle Mobbs: THANK YOU! I brought in my new keyboard to work, and didn't give the unifying software a second thought - I wasn't able to download the software to my work computer because of the admin restrictions. This web app saved the day! So easy to use, the wizard prompts you through the 3 steps very clearly.
  • (2019-12-04) David Regus: The app isn't showing the dongle I plug in. I have about 15 different devices plugged into various computers, they all work. But on my new HP chromebook, I can't get my mouse to connect. Pretty annoying
  • (2019-11-22) Nick: Worked flawlessly on the first try. Would recommend for anyone that doesn't have permissions to install the windows application as this is a great alternative.
  • (2019-10-29) Roger Bowman: I have an HD chromebook. I have a unifying plug in adapter that came with (and works with) Logitech mouse and was hoping to connect to my Logitech keyboard. This app does absolutely nothing and doesn't even recognize anything.
  • (2019-10-26) Satelliteboy141: Does not support all the functions on my 510 mouse , that were available in windows 7. In searching the web I can't find any software that would give those functions back.
