QD provides convenient speed dials, and saves your favorite web sites in your desktop. Another cool feature is to provide thousands of wallpapers for your selection, and it only needs one click operation to change your desktop' background.
By the way, QDeskop is designed for Chrome OS. Especially, it has great user experience in Chrome Pixel Device since it supports touch gestures,

- (2020-08-15) Gavin Hurd (Futur3Sn0w): In 2020, this remains one of, if not, the only apps/extensions of it's kind for Chromebooks, and it's pretty great even all these years later. It's a great app, but it is quite dated (not being updated since 2013), and it shows, unfortunately. Most app tiles have old logos, and the interface is sorta janky, as was the case for pre-2014 HTML5 sites and scripts. I will continue to use the app as it does allow for one thing that Chrome OS still does not allow for, and that's live wallpapers. Great work, dev(s)!

- (2017-07-12) Jeremy Green: Struggling with the icon aspect ratio even downloading the image and trying the change the size was challenging. Just need to know what works best and or have a scale to fit yes/no option.

- (2016-02-14) Howard Jaffe: The greatest app the Chromebook has ever seen. I still cannot believe that Google has not adopted this and made it perfect. The only thing Windows ever had going for it was Icons, and this app provides them. I would not use my Chromebook without qDesktop.
