NEW FEATURES AVAILABLE IN THE NATIVE APPS
Postman native apps include all of the functionality of Postman Chrome, and much, much more. Some of our favorite new features are listed below:
- Interceptor: The functionality of interceptor is now available on our Postman native apps. You can now specify browser domains in Postman to capture cookies for those sites and sync them to your instance of Postman. Postman also allows you to capture requests using Postman's built-in proxy.

Your data will be automatically transferred to the Postman Native App when you log into the Postman account associated with Postman Chrome. Just follow these steps:
Go to our download page: https://www.postman.com/downloads/
Select your platform.
Sign into your Postman account. Your history and collections will automatically sync.

- Yet another app that has fallen to the trend of trying to force a completely unnecessary login and yet another account to sign up for. Rating 1/5 just because of how stupid it is to implement this, especially in something that will handle API requests that could quite often handle sensitive information that no, I don't want to send off to any random 3rd parties by default.

- The Native Desktop runs very slow, and hangs, you guys should think of providing a light version of postman that has simple rest use, and also fix the current issue, am beginning to hate postman

- If there app is run in Electorn then how is it any native app? Having to run Slack was pain while using browser like Chrome and also heavy duty IDE. And running multiple tabs in Postman enough eats high memory. Good old days of memory optimization....

- Login required and mostly useless; in fact it never worked for me. Download is huge. I mean I can edit post request in Chrome; granted I can't generate them, but doing so should be a pretty damns simple extension -- something I just downloaded from another "app" in fact.

- Getting this Error while starting postman "postman has crashed. click this balloon to restart the app". Even if i am restarting it, getting the same crash error. Don't know how to start successfully. I have so much of json request and response data in my local postman. Please reply asap. Thanks in advance

- Showing "JavaScript is either disabled in or not supported by the Web browser. To continue logon, use a Web browser that supports JavaScript or enable JavaScript in your current browser." But JavaScript is enabled in Chrome.

- I have been using this since 1 year now, lately its been crashing more often, I also tried postman standalone, same thing with it too, indefinite time to load after crash. In week I reinstalled it three times. Still facing same issue

- Used to be a simple and effective REST tool. Put in the request, get the response. Now so bloated and invasive, it's no longer usable. Switching to another tool.

- Postman itself seems like a pretty handy tool for REST development. Unfortunately -- !! When enabled, it redirects my Google searches to Bing !! I am really not comfortable running an app that does that for no apparent reason. I've removed it.
