My advice is "never, never' buy the product from this company. when you use its trial software, you will be considered agree to pay the monthly subscription fee. The company will not send you a bill which shows you the exact money you have to pay. Therefore, think twice whenever you try this software. I am an angry customer who has been charged US$390, the amount was 5 times of the sum I agree to pay to this company

• (2019-07-31) Priscilla Lopez: Animaker has completely changed my creativity in the classroom. As a teacher, we are always looking for new and fun ways to create lessons for our students. With animaker, I become a director, cast coordinator, camera woman, sound chick, etc. I am currently working on a 5 stages of grief project and have enjoyed using all of the cool yet professional editing tools. I did struggle several times as I was trying to figure out the program. Adding scenes in between already made scenes is very difficult. Instead of having a blank canvas for music, the music stays as it was which means you have to manually shift over everything. Also, when extending scenes by clicking a button seems easy, but you need to extend what the each picture or image is doing and how long in lasts. Finally, editing the mouse click when recording can be tedious. I will say that I've only used Animaker a couple times, so it might just be my newness. Overall, I'm so excited to make clips for my class, but I'm even more anxious to see my students create their own projects.

I continue to be charged monthly after unsubscribing last month from a monthly plan. Who knows when they will stop charging me, or how many times I will have to unsubscribe. Fortunately, I have a good lawyer.

• (2018-01-03) Lombardo Lopez: I used to be a Powtoon user. But I finally decided to make the switch to Animaker. It was an obvious decision I had to make because of various reasons. Here are some: 1. Animaker has better looking and more realistic animated characters. 2. Animaker characters have more actions and expressions. 3. Animaker monthly pricing is affordable. (Powtoon monthly price is a complete rip off! They just don't care about small businesses or one time users) When it comes to customer support both are on par with each other. However, when it comes to product, Animaker is miles ahead! I used to be a Powtoon fan, I really hope they catch up soon!

None of the tools out there are as good. 2. The number of actions available for a character is mind blowing. There are also a lot of fun actions which can make your video really cool! 3. The cost is so affordable! Many contenders like Powtoon and GoAnimate portray themselves as perfect solutions for small businesses - but rip us off with outrageous monthly plans! Animaker's pricing is just perfect for SMBs! 4. Their support is also really helpful. They even went out of their way to help me with my Video Marketing Strategy. 5. Their Whiteboard tool and Video Infographics is better than all the other apps I've used! Cons: 1. They can improve on the number of music files. They do have a neat collection - but it would be great if they could have more! 2. The maximum limit of uploading your own music file is 5MB. However, I did raise this issue and they have promised to increase the limit in the coming weeks!

We were wasted hours of time creating a very cool animation video just to find out that it isn't possible for them to create a export file which is usable in anyway. Wouldn't ever recommend this software for any use.

(1) It's built in Flash and suffers from terrible 'memory creep'. (2) It's been rushed to market well before being fully bug tested. It's buggy in spots and has some glaring HUI/GUI issues as well as language problems. (3) It needs a PROPER reference library of characters, movements and props. (the assets are almost impossible to search and the search terms are often wrong - again a language issue, but easy to fix if they employ a native content writer.) (4) The ability to save and re-use animated loops as objects is essential in a tool like this, especially considering the target market. But they're nice folks, very responsive and I'm sure they'll get there. There's honestly nothing like it out there - at the moment.

A useful and flexible tool for small businesses. Great app for free, even greater with the paid version. Reasonably priced. I gave it a four star rating because it's slow and crashes at times. Please make it more stable, guys!
