- (2018-01-25) NB Driggers: I've been using Gqueues for almost 8 years now, and I think it's easily the most useful task manager on the market. I use the 7 Habits and GTD systems to organize my life, and Gqueues implements both superbly. The integration with Google is deep and solid, but it's also relatively exclusive. For example, if you want to upload an attachment, you MUST use Google Drive / Docs products. The email integration ONLY works for Gmail, and the Calendar & browser extensions are ONLY for Google Calendar and Chrome. That's the only reason I gave Gqueues four instead of five stars here, because this is my personal account. I rated Gqueues 5-stars on my business site, which is 100% Google Apps ecosystem. If you're deeply embedded into Google and want the best task manager on the market, you can't do better than Gqueues.
- (2017-02-20) Michael M: Excellent for getting things out of your head into a trusted system. Good for GTD. You can customize the task lists and smart queues to fit your workflow.
- (2017-01-13) Joel: Pros - It makes good use of desktop real estate when I clip my Chrome browser to one side of the screen. I can still see my tasks. - GQueues also offers two-way sync with Google Calendar which is something that I think is a bit unique with GQueues because other task outliners which are more popular (e.g., MyLifeOrganized, Todoist and Toodledo, etc.) have failed to do this. - GQueues is also available for Apple and Android products and, in my experience, has worked efficiently and well. - The add-on for Chrome browser works great, allowing me to add tasks quickly. Cons My biggest problem with this web app is the fact that it seems to settle for being good instead of being great. The two-way sync with Google Calendar is what brought me to it and GQueues is way better than using Google Tasks but development is slow. There are features that aught to have been there a few years ago that most basic task list managers have but GQueues is yet to implement. For example, the user is not able to select multiple tasks which can make moving multiple tasks from one queue to another easy. You have to move each one individually. Entering tasks is awkward, at best. You have to hit the 'Add task' button to enter a task initially but then you can use the tab key to enter the second one. However, watch out! If you miss that tab key, you've lost your opportunity to add a task using the keyboard. You must then use the 'Add task' button again. To me, this seems to suggest that the developer is having a hard time implementing something that would make this action much less effortless. Summary Although I'm not using GQueues right now due to the Cons listed above, I still recommend it if you're looking for a decent task outliner system that is better than Google Tasks. The fact that it two-way syncs with Google Calendar is what adds real power to the program. However, my general consensus, when it comes to web apps is that they generally suck. The just don't have the power that installable software can bring.
- (2016-08-31) Gerhard Ahlers: Very useful tasks app, especially for GTD´and your project management.
- (2016-08-11) Raphe Patmore: Great product
- (2016-05-22) Robert Blaine: Love it. Have been using for about 3 years.
- (2016-04-06) Cathy Zapata: So flexible. So easy to use. So well-integrated to Google calendar and any email. Can't say enough positive about it!
- (2016-02-15) Tim Chorlton: Still remains the simplest and most effective task management software I've ever used. The phone app could be a little slicker, but easy to over look given how well it integrates with Chrome and Gmail.
- (2016-02-04) Neil Gleghorn: love this app....
- (2015-06-27) Justin Cram: JUNK Annual renewal, free version or should I say demo is very crippled, It will never integrate with Google task, the premium version only allows a one time import of Google tasks so you are able to get your whole database in it, but forcing and delegating other folks will have to purchase into the this yearly annual subscription to collaborate with each other. Much better options out there that are completely free use your brain and do a good search using the key works Task or look for Gnotes is another shared option and it's completely free and syncs with android w/reminders etc. Justin Cram DyingJedi
- (2014-12-31) Bob Christensen: Best task manager if you want to keep things integrated with google calendar. Email extension is handy too.
- (2014-12-23) Eve Laufer: Outstanding! Finally, recurring tasks! Integration works so well with Google Calender. Lots of other useful productivity benefits - they didn't leave out anything. Completely intuitive. I've tried ALL the other productivity apps and abandoned them. GQueues looks right and works right.
- (2014-12-02) Dee Gardner: Best task list ever. Someday this will rule the world
- (2014-10-29) Jim Gregory: Used to use an app on my Palm that was similar. Looked for one that worked as well for several years after the Palm faded away. Tried several & finally found GQueues. I combine Covey's 7 Habits with Getting Things Done. GQueues is THE solution. Check it out.
- (2014-09-26) Celenie Singley: Love the integration of my task management with Google Calendar. Also allows for organizing tasks however you want.
- (2014-08-10) Helen: I LOVE it! I've tried MANY. I have the paid version and it's terrific.
- (2014-08-08) Scott Andrew: Best for GTD and for TSW methods. I have used lots of task managers - this is the one and all I need is less tasks to get done ha ha!
- (2014-07-25) Chris Hunter: We have tried no less than 12 Task/Project/ToDo apps and GQueues has the best interface, quick CS response, is very customizable, shares tasks well and works fantastic with GTD. Best of all it is easy on the eyes and a snap to deploy. Easy to add/manage tasks from mail, web, phone, tablet. Color coding is exceptional and makes things easy to spot even on the smallest of screens. Add tags on the fly, duplicate tasks or full queues. You don't really appreciate how great this is until you use it for a week against other apps. We ran 4 systems parallel for 2 weeks and GQueues worked the best, with the least amount of training and glitches. The planned development for attachments(beta now) and better comments have us excited.
- (2014-04-08) Geoffrey James: worth every penny, now they need to add some specific phone call tracking into the an already excellent app
- (2014-02-19) Jenna Beth: Absolutely fantastic. This exactly what I was looking for. I am a obsessively organized person who needs categories within categories and other fine tuning to make my lists perfect. How it integrates with my Google account and its applications is amazing. So happy with it.
- (2014-02-05) Services is beginning to fail. I recently started having problems with calendar integration. According to forums this has been going on for months, no solution. No support, even with premium level.
- (2013-11-29) Hydrocentre Hydroponics (Hydrocentre): Used lots of apps. I'd say this is nearly perfect. I use GTD and the secret weapon TSW to manage myself and my managers. This works all the time. I'd say that in all apps, you need to be able to set it up right and TSW works well with this. I paid for it, and it is worth it. My suggestion would be to make it a bit prettier, so that I don't waste time on the other prettier task managers and go straight to Gqueues. Use the android app and the extension and email - all great.
- (2013-09-10) Ricky T: Don't see why this needs google sign in. Doesn't sync with my google tasks.
- (2013-08-09) This is my Astrid replacement. If you think in workflow this will be a good app and better than Astrid in that respect. I wish I knew of this sooner since it is the closest to what I need for organization. Complete Google & Mobile integration costs $25/year but both works well so I will pay. There is a free trial which was nice so I was able to vet things before making the plunge.
- (2013-06-28) Alex Anderson: I've tried alot of these task management apps but this is the only one that is flexible enough to adapt to your flow instead of vice versa.
- (2013-01-27) Joshua Ocean: Way too buggy for the $25 I paid for it. Too many problems to list.
- (2013-01-26) D Neunaber: I wanted a system that syncs with google tasks. This doesn't. For my purposes, it is not a useful program. I uninstalled it.
- (2013-01-26) Rick Mansur: Like others, I've tried other todo list, organizers task managers etc. and this one is by far the best. So simple to use, but does everything I need. I actually use it partly for CRM. Love the Chrome extension, as I can "clip" anything and send to a que I call "stuff" and assign a date and time to it if needed. Very handy. I have been a beta tester for the Android app for several weeks and it's coming in the next several weeks according to the developer who is very responsive. My life is complete. Someone complained about the $25/yr subscription for the premium version? Get a grip. No one works for fee.
- (2013-01-17) Topaz Ermshar: This is a great application, and (for an annual subscription) will integrate nicely with Google Calendar. As much as I loved this, I am disappointed to have to subscribe to have the features I really needed. I think $25 annual licensing per user in my household of 8, is too steep a price. Even at the bulk licensing rate, it would be at least $160 each year. Uninstalled and searching for something else.
- (2012-10-17) Mitchel Laman: Mobile app is a little slow, but overall I like this task management program the best. The recent style changes are beautiful. Great working and looking app.
- (2012-05-16) A P: Best task manager I have ever used. It has a nice clean appearance & is easy to use. I no longer have a need for any other productivity app or program. GQueues has given me a simple and yet powerful platform to organize everything. This is my favorite program.
- (2012-04-30) Mike Schmidt: Amazing. The only task manager thats stuck for me for years.
- (2012-04-14) Enrico Cassinelli: Easy, like todoist + collaboration, GTD compliant
- (2012-03-24) Kopal Hawk: It is easy to use daily, I have several organizer Apps in my iPodTouch and love The Informer because it syncs with my Google calendar. The combination of GQues, Cuoluo Diary, Google Calendar and GoogleDocs really are making it easier to organize appointments, tasks. Also make journal entries as a LOG which is very useful a later dates, well Chrome is de facto an OS a cloud based OS ...and i can read my mail and sync to my calendar ...sweet, at NO COST no $$
- (2011-11-13) Rein Petersen: How is this application a chrome extension? I see zero integration with Chrome... you have to maintain a webpage open and you could use any browser to do it... The idea was to have it working in my browser, to remind me of tasks that are due... now I have to remember to open a webpage... I have to remember to check my reminders... kind of pointless...
