If you have ever tried to sync your Google Calendar with your Outlook/Phone/Blackberry and ended up with duplicates, you need this. This tool will delete duplicates from your Google Calendar.

What gets deleted? What if I have events with participants and repetitions?

We select all the possible duplicate candidates including the original and iterate thru them. We save the item that has the most information like participants, recurring event. The rest of them are deleted if they have no participants/recurring info. If there is more than one event that has participants/recurring event information those items are not deleted. The worst that can happen is we don’t delete your important information and you have to manually delete such events. This is a rare scenario.

Tom Wade 2018-03-06: Very easy and straightforward to use. Unfortunately it nuked my calendar aside from one or two random events, so I can't comment on effectiveness.
Tom Nowak 2018-01-08: Did what it said it would do - If you want to replace single events with recurring, just add extra text in the "description" section of the recurring event, and the app should delete the other event, even if they are identical in all other properties.

Stephen Williams 2017-06-14: This is a nifty little tool that I used to help cleanup my Google Calendar (due to synchronization issues with Outlook Calendar that I encountered). It did a pretty solid job of finding most of the duplicated items on my Google Calendar, and the user interface can't get any simpler. Sometimes a dialog with pop up warning that the process failed, but everything seemed to work fine -- regardless of the message (the duplicates were deleted in the time frame I gave the app). It's a little rough around the edges in that regard, but otherwise a solid app that I greatly appreciated! Saved me A LOT of time cleaning up my calendar.

Glenda S. McKinney 2016-02-12: Worked perfectly for me first time. I get some duplicates, mostly of holidays, due to syncing my Outlook calendar with my Google calendar via Ogg. This app initially only offers to de-duplicate the current day, so be sure to change one or both of the dates. I set this to go from today to two years in the future. A few duplicates disappeared before my very eyes, which was very satisfying. When I looked at this week, however, I scowled as I saw two duplicates were still present. Then I realized that those dupes were earlier in the week, so I hadn't asked for them to be removed....

Sherrie Buckridge 2015-03-16: Had hundreds of duplicate appointments in my google calendar, most of them birthdays that I wanted to get rid of. At first I got an error, but after contacting support, they told me to try a month at a time. Took a while as you have to open a new tab and re input the parameters each time; choose the calendar, dates from and to. But that is much easier than deleting one by one. I opened several at a time, changed all to the right calendar and copy and pasted the dates. When I did that it went pretty fast. Thanks!
Anonymous 2015-02-19: I honestly can't tell you that I hated the app because even though I purchased it twice, I never got to use it. I purchased it a couple of days ago and went through the installation process. Nothing seemed to work. I reached out to the developer and didn't hear back for a couple of days and only after pinging him again. After pinging him via email, Pradeep said, "Give me an hour. I am running errands." Three hours later I emailed yet again, to which he replied, "I cancelled your order. Try purchasing again. Sorry i got stuck with other things." I reordered and re-installed a second time and it still didn't work. After alerting Pradeep, he said, "Looks like you have an issue with chrome, we cannot fix it. We will refund your money."... and so he did. I felt abandoned. I asked for help with Chrome, not knowing what to do. Pradeep finally said "this problem is a weird state of chrome browser. We have 1 in 10000, we could never solve it." Of course, for $10 I don't expect personal hand holding, but given the slow response and the reality of my experience, 1-star is an appropriate rating because others are susceptible to the same situation and treatment, though I hope for better for them.

D Puorro 2014-12-26: I really liked this app. It removed a lot of duplicates, but most of my issues surrounded re-occurring entries, which can not be removed by the app. The developer really seemed to try his best to resolve all of my issues. In the end, he had to throw in the towel and offered a refund. I'm giving it 5 stars for outstanding customer service.
Shad Butler 2014-12-19: Update 12/18/2014 - For several weeks now I have been getting an error when trying to use this application and my initial discussions with the staff did not resolve the issue. This is after it was working fine for a period of time. It now says it does not work with a proxy but I have made no network changes, rather the application just stopped working. --------- After working with Calendar Duplicate Deletor staff I was able to resolve most of my issues with this application. While there are some limitations it appears that many of them are restrictions due to the functionality available for Chrome apps and Google API calls.

The Lorax 2014-10-31: Excellent support! My initial attempts to download and run Chrome App failed. But within a few minutes of sending email asking for help, Pradeep instructed me to use their more reliable Windows version (rather than Chrome App version). Working very smoothly now. Used the Windows version to remove duplicates for a two-year period on my calendar and it worked perfectly! Thanks for the great program!

Anonymous 2014-09-14: This app removed over 7000 duplicates from a calendar going back more than 17 years. Doing this manually would have been extremely tedious. I had a small issue so dropped Pradeep, the author, a line. I got a very rapid reply, a quick resolution to the issue, and even a follow-up email checking all was well. In summary, excellent software and excellent customer service.

Amy 2014-09-01: Great app, but I wish it could remove duplicates across multiple calendars. For example, I have 3 Google Calendars, all nested under "My Calendars": --1 calendar w/ events that were imported from my daughter's school --1 w/ events imported from my son's school, --& 1 w/ family events. Each is color-coded. When I print-out the master calendar, I can see who has events scheduled at a glance. The problem is that now I have duplicates & triplicates on my master calendar because some items, like holidays, appear on each sub-calendar. However, w/ this app, I can only remove duplicates within in one sub-calendar, but not across them. Still, it's a great app when you are working w/ a single calendar.
