Description from store
The ultimate weather tracking tool, Full Screen Weather enables anyone in the world to quickly zoom in on the Google Maps interface to view the most granular data available from Weather Underground’s unmatched network of over 21,000 personal weather stations before zooming out and scrolling across the world to view the weather conditions affecting friends and family.
Select and view a high-resolution precipitation layer (radar) or cloud layer (satellite) plotted on the map—both of which can be animated. Additionally, severe weather alerts that have been issued for the locations in view on the map are displayed in the bottom corner of the screen and can be clicked upon to view the full alert weather statement.

- (2019-06-17) GPWI: installed twice on my chrome book, does not work......just says BRTUS AIN'T AVALIBLE, or some such thing......
- (2019-04-01) if i could figure out how to get rid of it i would.cant even get fkn support.
- (2018-10-13) Dana Zauf: Hard to find a full screen app for chromebook . This would be ok, but you can't close the conditions box, which covers up a lot of the screen & with ads. You can only move it from side to side. Disappointed
- (2018-09-16) Robert Le Blah: Storm tracks are gone. Why?
- (2018-07-21) Annette Norman: This is a junkware/spam app. What I want to see is the weather. Most of what I see is forced ads that cover most of what I am looking for. I have used it for about 30 minutes, mostly trying to see weather maps. I'm PO'ed with it. I'm uninstsalling it as soon as I finish this review
- (2018-05-26) You can't even uninstall it.
- (2018-05-20) Anarie Tolete: was using it and it works fine, then after couple of months the app does not work, when i click it, it doesn't even run. I uninstall it.
- (2018-02-04) Tom prince: has a stupid current conditions pop up with ads that wont go way, blocks the weather map, but they got to make money.
- (2017-11-07) Doug C: Simply doesn't work. Uninstalling.
- (2017-10-24) Richard DAndrea: Used to work fine now it starts, the location box comes up the map flashes for a second then the screen goes blank
- (2017-10-24) Bob Hinkle: it sucks
- (2017-10-10) William Howarth: Constantly breaks down, will not retain my local ZIP address. Terrible.
- (2017-09-14) Eric Seaborg (Gingy): Use to work great and then suddenly it stopped
- (2017-09-10) Chef Michael Bennett, Author: Needs work
- (2017-08-03) John Stanton: The nice maps are back - I left this app some time ago because they had disappeared. But is there a way to get rid of th (current) "CONDITIONS" box that disturbs the view? It is annoying.
- (2017-06-30) Jim Reid: I have used the app for several years and enjoyed it. However, in the last month the developers did something with the app which cause it not to work at all. Click on screens to get radar - nothing. All the screens are like that. Too bad as I enjoyed the app very much but not now. Unfortunately, there is no other app that appears to meet my needs. As a matter of interest, the android version for the phone works like it always did. ? jim
- (2017-06-27) Robert Dannelly: So far so good we will see over time.
- (2017-06-24) Dick Harper: Very slow loading on a chromebook. Shows Ads too long and doesn't let you get full forecast. Takes forever. It didn't used to be this way.
- (2017-06-23) Dennis Steul: Advertisements covered part of screen - forget it.
- (2017-06-08) Suzanne Magisa: Much better than the other weather underground app I loaded. I have had this for years but had to reload it last week and used a different app. It wouldn't work right so I tried this one. THIS is the one I had for years and seems to work just fine.
- (2017-05-17) cool guy: All I get are stupid ads instead of current conditions HOW STUPID
- (2017-05-04) I like this Chrome App much better than Weather Bug. App runs great in my (Linux) Apricity OS (Arch Linux) via Google Chrome browser.
- (2017-05-02) Wes Brooks: Great, non cluttered weather app.
- (2017-04-21) Tama Maigo: 10 day forcast not working
- (2017-04-03) Doug Harvey: Doesn't work.
- (2017-03-11) Local info cover up controls in upper left corner. Can't use.
- (2017-03-11) Jared David May: Too many Adds, Slow Loading, does not turn off - always running in the Background sucking up processor speed/memory!!!!!
- (2017-03-08) skerman37: can't set my city - the app is completely unresponsive to all clicks
- (2017-03-02) Mark Eifert: this app sucks
- (2017-02-24) Dennis Lainson: not for me
- (2017-02-18) Mortum Rex: I switch to metric and it tells me it's 73 degrees Celsius here. According to that I should be dead.
- (2017-02-18) -neil-: Ugh; I never wrote a 1 star review before, ANYWHERE! The map has almost no options, and then there's a link to the regular Wundermap. No explanation of how adjusting the dozens of settings on the webpage is supposed to affect this app. Not too many recent reviews; I figure the app is abandoned, and it should be removed from the Webstore.
- (2017-02-09) JG Bennette: Doesn't fit in my Chromebook window.
- (2017-01-01) Pamela,Diane Thompson-Rivera (Babysbunns): i like the full screen and it seems to be right on weather wise
- (2016-12-12) Runs very slow and slows down my browser. I uninstalled.
- (2016-11-20) Michael G.: useless! preview box covers settings and when i finally changed it to celsius it still showed in fahrenheit with a c behind!
- (2016-09-22) Dave Woods: if i switch from "English" to "metric" it just changes the F for a C - it doesn't actually change the temperature. not really useful.
- (2016-08-23) They sure downgraded this app tremendously. At one point it no longer worked, so I uninstalled it. I use to enjoy the customization's such as the hybrid map and overlays. It's really sort of cheesy now and has taken a step backward in time. The website map is a cut above this, but they keep downgrading it as well. Just when I think they have a good thing and recommend it to others, they change it.
- (2016-08-14) Hilary Smith: Can't even see the app - the ad box is all I get. Used to be great.
- (2016-08-13) App pull down menus don't disappear, they just stay in position. I agree with the critical comments. These bozos that work on apps for wunderground need to go back to school. None of these issues are surprising since they messed up Wunderradio too.
- (2016-08-13) Liam Kincaid: It's so messed up now, after they fixed the broken URL, it's not funny. Defaults to wind and temp. View screen maximization is set high and it prevents you from changing the stupid default settings. Switching to metric doesn't change the forecast unlike before. Company can't make or program apps. Uninstalled
- (2016-08-06) Charls Trickel: Advertising broke it. I pay for ad free on the phone app but can't log in so am stuck on a non weather screen.
- (2016-08-02) Malcolm McKean: used to be the best, now crap, doesnt work, doesnt zoom, sucks, too bad
- (2016-07-13) Anthony Kamau: It was OK, but... When I change to metric units, the hovering window refused to recalculate the temperature. It changed from 53.2°F to 53.2°C. I quickly chucked it out as it left a bitter taste in me mouth...
- (2016-07-09) Jerry Hoffman: This was a good app until the last update. You took the satalite view away and also took the options away like storm track.
- (2016-07-05) Brad McGarr: The new version sucks. No more storm tracks, no more warning or watch area polygons, big obtrusive advertising. Sorry, but all the features I used this app for are gone and replaced by an advertisement. I'd pay a nominal fee for a full featured, no-ads version.
- (2016-07-01) This is NOT an App; this is just a link to a webpage; a mere URL, that one could easily bookmark.
- (2016-06-16) Gerald Clark (Jerry): Wish I could give it a zero. As an unsatisfied Weather Underground subscriber, I am now going to the AccuWeather extension instead. This app has been completely ruined with crappy maps, no satellite composite, no scroll wheel. It remembers nothing, and pulls up a weather station 10 miles away from the selected favorite. If you must use Weather Underground, save a link to WunderMap. At least that works.
- (2016-06-14) R Fox: Why can't you all leave well enough alone? The app was just fine. You can't get direction of storms now EPIC fail.
