- Great text to speech app. However, the pitch changes, randomly, each time I play it back. To download an mp3 with, the correct pitch, I had to reselect the voice (female English Australian), then reset the playback pointer to zero, before saving the mp3 file.

- It is one of the best text to speech applications I have worked with. My students use it all the time. However when my students work with it it says no audio on file. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't in several computers. I wish it was more reliable. I will be giving a conference using this technology and how to integrate it with early childhood hands on activities but since it is not reliable I will be showing this along with a secondary backup.

- Says "Text to speak dot us" in every thing, converts it to mp3. This really isn't helpful to have this advertising as it makes everyone go "wth is that". It isn't what we typed it is something added on just incase someone uses it and downloads the sound but why would anyone want to download a sound file that contains nothing but a ad basically.

- The only thing that currently works for me. I have been using this for studying purposes, mostly in spelling and definition of words or phrases. There is a 30 minute audio limit - which is about 6.5 pages of alphanumeric words and characters including spaces. If you use the "." (period) or "-" (hyphen) a lot, that is also taken into account to the audio limit. What I was looking for in a TTS application are: mainly: no need to sign up or login, no limit to audio & characters, male voice speaker/reader, able to preview audio of my work, and able to download file. bonuses: able to change voice, able to change speed of 'talking', upload files to convert into plain text, translate to different languages. This app fills 4 of 5 of my main requirements, so I rate it 4 stars. I am grateful to find a better-than-decent TTS app that don't require you to login. Note: If you are unable to download audio file via "Use the 'save as' in right-click context menu." you can click on the "Download" below the audio player to download the file. Thank you for creating this TTS app and making it a free service. Much appreciated.
