The HipChat Windows client misses a lot of marks (have you used it on a HiDPI screen?), and the web client has some missing usability. I created this app in order to address those issues.
This is a fully functional, beautifully scaling, HipChat client.
Note: This app is not associated with the real HipChat client or Atlassian in any way. It is just my frustrated attempt at having a good client for a service that I need to use for work.

- First try, I typed the wrong password and it went into an infinite loop... Not impressed.

- Used to work fine, but now borked. Does not handle entering the I am not a robot Captcha on login.

- When you enter the wrong password, the client hammers the authentication endpoint for HipChat. There needs to be an intervention. Your ap is ridiculous.

- Slightly nicer layout than JIRA's own desktop app and I preferred this. But, failure to save my login details everytime I close down, with no 'remember' option means I'm uninstalling it because JIRA's doesn't have this issue once I'm logged in on the browser. Sorry guys - fix it and I'll return!

- It does not save username and password unfortunately. There is an option for it, but it does not work for me.

- I found something annoying. When switching between other windows the focus of the chat window is lost. Keyboard inputs are ignored then.

- Works much better than the Linux client. I'd love to be able to change the keyboard shortcuts.
