  • (2025-06-30) Justin Wild: As someone who routinely has 50+ tabs open, Octab has been a lifesaver for keeping things organized. It's one of the few extensions I consider essential. My most-used feature: Session Management: On the Windows Manager page (keyboard shortcut S), you can easily suspend tabs or entire windows. You can also save tabs and windows to a folder and either keep them open or close them. It makes it really easy to come back to that entire window later whenever you're ready.
  • (2025-04-22) Terrence-Monroe: Brannon: Infinite folder nesting frees you from the arbitrary levels imposed by Workona, Toby and Sidekick. Very reasonable pricing. Responsive user interface. This review is coming from a person who got tired of performance issues with sidekick and who has tried tabos, arc, raindrop, tree style tabs, linkmap, and many more. This one has the potential to be the best ever. I was about to drop $25/mo on Ghost Browser because it appears to perform better than Sidekick, yet has a nice set of abstractions above tabs into Workspaces and Profiles. but I think I can get by with this. I find it amazing that people want to post low-star reviews when they dont understand something: all they need to do is write the developer with their question before making ill-informed judgements.
  • (2025-03-15) Seifer Flo: I absolutely do not understand how this extension works and what's the philosophy behind it. What's the correlation between my actual tab in my browser and the octab tab as we can't drag n drop browser's tab inside an Octab folder? When we put a tab in an Octab folder, it still still sits in the browser like nothing happened and it also still sits inside the "Unorganized list" of Octab even though I organized it in a folder. If I decide to use only Octab folders and start browsing but I don't save the current page in my folder, it's just not inside any folder. So it has to be saved in a folder everytime from what I understand. Then there is left side panel, and a right side panel. I like the right one but when I click on a folder, then a tab that right side panel just closes immediately. Why? The left panel is ok but it takes more real estate space due to all the hovering icons. As I'm using vertical tabs already it just becomes tricky. Clicking the octab icon extension doesn't do anything. I have to right click, octab, open side panel... In the dashboard, we can custom our folders position etc which is great, but when we click on a folder we get a pop with icons only and it becomes quickly messy to quickly find a tab as we have to hover an icon to see the website... I didn't try the rest after an hour I just gave up. Sorry for the bad review. I miss Simple Tab Groups from Firefox.
  • (2025-02-07) Tiny Toad: So far so good, looks like it's exactly what I needed. I just started using this extension today, so I don't have much experience with it yet but I might update and add additional details to my review as I become more familiar with it. I like how easy it is to save an entire window at once, with just one click of a button, and I like having the ability to edit the tabs saved within a window. I haven't tried the other features yet, but I'll try poking around a little. The little tutorial when you first start using it, showing you the most basic things you need to know, is helpful.

  • (2024-11-28) Ham: If you need to organize your tabs then this has to be one of the best solution avaliable. I work with hundreds of tabs on different topics, different research and some general content. This helped alot with organizing and keeping things nice and tidy. The developers of this extension are very nice and do a great job at implementing features. I have spoken to them via. e-mail and I must say I was very pleased with the interaction. I think this deserves more attention.
