- (2025-08-03) Charles Spalding: I really enjoyed the extension, but today it started to block the search function in Gemini on Chrome browser, hopefully the problem can be solved.
- (2025-07-25) Robert Ferrell: Outstanding work. After testing nearly 30 similar extensions, Open Prompt Manager clearly stands out as the most effective and thoughtfully designed tool in its category. Its open-source nature adds significant value, allowing for ongoing collaboration and refinement. There are a few areas where I noticed opportunities for improvement: The sorting functionality isn’t working as expected. I attempted to reorder prompts using both export/import and the Drag & Drop method, but neither approach made a difference. Perplexity.ai is not included in Chrome’s 'Site Access' list. Although it appears in the llm_providers file, it’s not present in the manifest file, which may be why Chrome doesn't recognize it for access permissions. The variable system is a powerful feature. It would be helpful to clearly specify that the correct format is #variable# instead of {{variable}}, to avoid confusion with other syntax conventions. Currently, selecting a prompt overwrites the existing content in the chat input box. It would enhance usability if the prompt were inserted at the cursor's current position rather than replacing the full content or defaulting to another input box. Thanks for this creative and practical extension. I'm excited to see how it continues to evolve.
- (2025-07-25) Arjun: Fantastic product, can you please add perplexity support and ability to choose from dark/light theme in the settings.
- (2025-07-17) Umi Hussaini: Exactly what I needed, ONLY additional thing really needed is a one click 'Copy' function. Right now I need to go in and edit, then copy entire message, then go and paste.
- (2025-07-14) Jackson Kasi: Super simple. But login & Sync it will super
- (2025-07-12) Tahmidul Kashfi: Good open-source prompt manager, wants it in all other platform eg. perplexity, deepseek, grok etc
- (2025-06-28) Blue Culture: Smoother and better than all other extensions with more users. Hope you get the attention and can monetize your work, really saves lots of time. Edit: For me it doesn't copy the prompt to clipboard, only paste into Claude. Did you remove the feature for us to decide if it copies to clipboard too?
- (2025-06-17) Sergi Grau Moya: This is perfect, great work!
