- (2025-07-02) John J. Romas: Works ok but I have same complaint as a previous reviewer. The pop up box for every file is very annoying. Unchecking the box in the settings does not work so I had to lower the rating. Please fix this and its a 5 star extension.
- (2025-05-28) Filipe Carvalho: Please disable the dowload all media button
- (2025-05-28) Go Man: Works great and the directory/naming options make it way easier to stay organized then I would have assumed. Something that I missed was having a mass download function but it seems they have added the feature since I last reviewed. I would give it an additional star for the addition but I can't give it 6 out of 5. Thanks for developing this.
- (2025-05-24) Calvin Wang: This works great! But is there anyway to disable the file save popup for every file during mass download? Uncheck the box in the setting doesn't help
- (2025-05-21) Justin64: Extremely unnecessary
- (2025-05-21) Sebastián Escobar: It works perfectly, I would only change that it uses the post publication date (instead of the download date) for the file name.
- (2025-05-19) Freedom Bird: Very easy to use, Great for "borrowing" memes. :) Only complaint, it downloads gifs as videos, but to be honest, not always a bad thing.
- (2025-05-18) iancoog7102: 18/05/2025 Update: Thanks for not only fixing what I previously suggested - now it names files correctly - but also fast fixing the problem due to bsky changing something that made the extension unusable yesterday. 5 stars. (old 2024 review left below to see what I suggested) So far So good. Improvements needed: -ability to add/remove patterns, for example I don't want to have ID in the filename -when using INDEX, also first file should have index 1, then 2nd file have 2 etc, else we have, for example with 3 pics in a post username_20241116__01_id.jpg (this is the SECOND image) username_20241116__02_id.jpg (this is the THIRD image) username_20241116_id.jpg (this is the FIRST image) it's confusing, First image should be 01, third should be 03
- (2025-04-09) Glitch: Works like a charm! I was especially pleased with the ability to group downloads by account.
- (2025-04-05) 谁谁啊: Amazing, very convenient
- (2025-03-09) Goshawk 61: would love a bulk download option but for downloading single posts it works phenominally
- (2025-02-07) David Parker: It does allow you to download both images and videos from posts. I could not see how it I could use it at first, but right below the post along with the number of likes and reblogs there will be new download icon that you use for both images and videos. The only thing I miss is that the downloader should remember your last saved location. That is kind of default in all browsers today, and would be very user friendly for any body that has an organized drive and lots of folders.
- (2025-02-06) Izaird Alexander Mothelet Delgado: It does what it says, but I would be great to have the ability to download all the post from the media tab
- (2025-01-21) Kenneth Thomas: Doesn't work / if only there were some kind of guide on how to activate or use! Isn't incompetence wonderful?
- (2025-01-06) N S: Works well, thank you Please, for Firefox too 😭
- (2024-12-25) Nick Youtou: It does what it says, it downloads images in one click. Settings page does not open, stuck in an infinite loading of lines below "Current Status" and "Advanced Settings". So I cannot say how feature rich it is. I can however hope that you'll copy as much functionality from Twitter Media Harvest as possible, such as: - option for default saving subfolder - download history, and a green download arrow replacing default one if the post images were downloaded before - customizing filename pattern AI thing sucks but at least you can opt out. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I hope it stays that way. UPD: Dev has updated the extension repeatedly and made it much better so I'd say worth.
- (2024-12-10) Alberto Bueno: A good idea but with multiple easy improvements (like saving pictures as PNG full quality, changing the extension filename from jpeg to png on the url, or the account name subfolder option not working). Is the source code available in Github?
- (2024-12-05) No Entry: It works, but not really. It provides a download button for you to download all images in a given post, but rather than let you save in the last location you just saved an image/video in, it ALWAYS defaults to the downloads folder even if you change the settings. This is annoying as it significantly increases the time it takes for you to sort and save images. It also only saves as .jpg instead of lossless .png despite it being more than possible to save images from Bluesky as .png. It's not bad, but there's clearly room for improvement.
- (2024-12-04) Jimmy L.: Works amazingly! If this *just* had the username in the filename, or just saved images easier, then I would've been perfectly happy, but this does way more than that! Genuinely the first time I've ever left a review out of shock of how good it was. I used TwitOrigImage back then, and this is so close and so helpful and it's made my life so much easier. Thank you!!
- (2024-11-30) Helmeet El Gato: Does what it promises effectively.
- (2024-11-30) OL: Doesn't work for videos!
- (2024-11-27) Person Interest: Brilliant and perfect!! Exactly what I needed. A note for those trying to figure out how it works: it adds a download button beneath the bsky posts that wasn't there before. It'll show up on the far right immediately under the image or video. Fabulous work dev, thank you very much for this!
- (2024-11-09) Asher Zhu: Function is good. Unethical business model. Claiming "you are not using the bandwidth why not make me some money" is insane mindset. It's also used to train AI. I won't trust it. I was also lied about "It's fully opt-in". **Pointing to whiteboard** Defaulted to opt-in is not opt-in. That's called opt-out. And while it's opt-outable, all is hidden behind a button. Most users will look pass this and get scammed without acknowledging. It also claims that "you may earn money back form the program" which is a joke at best. Very scamming tone to me personally. The extension does what needs to do. A copy pasta of Twitter Media Harvast (a great OG tool and it uses the adorable 'buy me a coffee' business model). While it works fine, this extension is not rocket science and the overall practice make it untrustworthy. It ask for permission to access all websites. I'll wait for an alternative.
- (2024-11-01) Edward Belloc: Why is the time of "date" the time we downloaded? Is there any way to change it to the time the author uploads the media?
- (2024-10-29) 中山平: works exactly as advertized - even on mobile kiwi browser! dev is active and friendly as well
- (2024-10-28) Eoryu: Works perfectly. The only thing, and I don't really know if it's just my PC being weird about it, but the Mellowtel settings page never loads. Although I checked that I opted out, I have no way of actually verifying if I am.
- (2024-10-21) Arslan Ali: Does what it's supposed to do and has a clean UI!
- (2024-10-20) Skippy Moon: This extension asks you to use your bandwidth to help AI models. The concept is provided by Mellowtel (https://github.com/mellowtel-inc/mellowtel-js). It claims that it'll help the extension create earn revenue and "keep the app free". While you can opt out of this, it still very much irks me to let this extension stay on my computer. It does, however, download images and video. The two star ranking is only because of the implementation of Mellowtel in the extension.
- (2024-10-19) Cainã Maturo: AI training bot disguised as a legit extension. Basically malware.
- (2024-10-19) Quinn Jacobs Porter: Amazing extension. You should make the download button do a little loading animation and then a checkmark to verify that it downloaded!
- (2024-10-17) mrTdeToy: While it works as intented, the images saved arent in the fullsize resolution, so you get low quality saved images
