Description from store
The Clinical Notes AI Chrome extension streamlines the clinical documentation process by recording conversations during patient sessions and converting them into text, which is then automatically integrated into Electronic Health Record (EHR) system forms. This real-time transcription eliminates the need for manual note-taking, allowing clinicians to focus on patient care. The AI processes spoken words into structured clinical notes, providing a seamless copy-paste function into the appropriate EHR fields. The system supports both live transcriptions during sessions and post-session dictations, and all data is handled in a HIPAA-compliant manner, ensuring confidentiality and security.
This integration significantly reduces documentation time, accelerates insurance reimbursement processes, and supports clinician well-being by alleviating administrative burdens.

- (2025-03-19) Ryan Penny: It has saved me so much time in writing evals, POCs, SOAP notes, and AAC evals!
- (2025-02-24) Mike Simonton: Love seeing the plugin updates, with more EHRs being supported!
- (2025-02-20) SARA ZAKI: I've wished for a service like this my entire career, and I never thought it would actually exist. As a private practice owner, healthcare provider, mom, and ministry leader, my plate is full—anything that saves time on charting is a win. CNAI has done exactly that. I'm no longer stressed trying to remember details or scrambling to finish notes at the end of the day. Everything is securely stored, HIPAA compliant, and SOC 2 Certified, which was my top priority when trialing 15+ AI platforms. User-friendliness was another major factor. Setup is simple, and while learning to optimize its features takes a little practice, the team has been incredibly patient and supportive. Even the CEO was available to answer my questions (He is so humble, he didn't tell me who he was, someone else later on did, and said "yea that's just how he is"). I love that, and no pushy sales or anything. You get 2 full weeks to trial, it's more than enough time to practice, ask questions, etc. As a solo practitioner it's the best $40 bucks a month I'm spending. I've been so amped up to get this into the hands of my work friends and colleagues. As someone who handles clinical work, I also have to keep an eye on budgets for our facility kitchens. What I'm realizing, is that the more time you can save a company as a whole, that translates into dollars and cents, and then my kitchen budget doesn't get touched. If anything, I want to see our hardworking kitchen staff become eligible for the raises they deserve, and I know the way to do that, is to find ways for a company to work smarter, not harder. There's metrics in the back office that tell you exactly how much time was saved each week/month on charting, and you can input an hourly salary to see the cost savings. I'm thinking ahead for when I need to add more practitioners to my practice. Another boastable feature is the Audit feature - where you can have charts audited by the AI, to determine if it's state compliant. That's HUGEEEE, even if it's just my own work to make sure I haven't missed a field or piece of information. So many good things to say about this platform already. Unlike other platforms that felt like basic dictation tools, CNAI functions as a true AI assistant. You can customize templates, integrate with KIPU/behavioral health EHRs, and even edit notes by simply speaking commands. The guys working the tech and coding are in direct communication with the CEO and people on helping customers, everything I've asked for they've gotten to work on. I love that they value the providers requests and are a true white glove service perfecting and growing and not stopping at second best. Overall, after weeks of trialing multiple options, CNAI stood out because of its adaptability, security, and seamless workflow. I had asked my family member for suggestions cause they work in AI Tech also, and I'm glad he recommended this one. If you're looking for a clinical AI tool that truly assists rather than just transcribes, this is the one. Especially in behavioral health, but apparently they're constantly adding more and more clinical fields to their services.
- (2025-01-03) Isabella Dagher: I'm so grateful this now exists to simplify logging my progress notes into Simple Practice from Clinical Notes AI without copying and pasting everything. It is a game-changer! Yet, unfortunately, I gave 3 stars only because I cannot use prior customized templates with this extension but am instead forced to use the "Standard Progress Note." You can customize your standard progress note template with AI prompts for each section, but I can't customize that form with my pre-written text and generative fill-in-the-blank statements. I like to streamline my notes to fit my writing style, but find this update to lack abilities in accessing customizable templates that are as advanced as creating my own templates. 5 stars if this is fixed.
- (2024-10-28) Jessie Gant: This is life changing.
- (2024-10-27) Ross Young: This extension is incredible. It instantly reads the EHR and pushed my notes into the system without copy/paste. It also can check all of the checkboxes and select the dropdowns. It works in simplepractice, therapynotes, theranest and Kipu... wow, just wow!
