- (2025-07-11) Shawn Jackson: Too much AI. Rewriting everything without an option to disable that. Also excludes projects. Otherwise, does as expected. Word output is really easy to work with
- (2025-06-19) Mario: Useless. The LinkedIn PDF export feature is way better and offers more sections by default. I was trying to find an alternative because the LinkedIn export has the downside of not exporting some sections (such as "Volunteer" and "Projects"), but CVGist isn't a solution and is way worse.
- (2025-05-07) Alexander White: All this does is output the exact same PDF as Downloading directly from LinkedIn. I am sure the paid version does something more. But the free version is worthless and doesn't do what the description says it does.
- (2025-04-15) Aidan Fundenberger: Did exactly what it says it will do, and it looks nice! Exported to docx for easy editing. I added a photo to mine using ilovepdf as well for a personal touch.
- (2025-01-30) Franko Prifti: It does what it says and it does a great job with it. 100% Recommended!
- (2025-01-22) Aaron βOliverβ Conley: I was tired of feeding the same information over and over into different resume builders trying to fully capture my experience for my resume. This was a super quick and easy tool to get the information I built into my LinkedIn profile into a sleek, industry standard resume. Best of all, it was actually free! Though I wish there was a donation option as I wouldn't be in need of the repeated use of it's service. Thank you very much though!
- (2024-12-26) Nick: Worked as expected. Actually a free service...
- (2024-11-19) Cameron Carr: AI is wild... super quick and easy
- (2024-11-06) Alexa Rivera: I've been manually copying my LinkedIn profile to make resumes for different jobs and it was such a pain...found this CVGist while searching for a LinkedIn export to resume tool and honestly wasn't expecting much, but it actually does a great job. The resume it creates is really clean and saved me a ton of time.
- (2024-11-05) Michael Ramos: Worked well for a free service. Super fast. Anyway, gave me a resume that was awesome to open directly in Word and finish myself. I liked the format.
