Description from store
This extension transforms how you view PDFs in Google Chrome by introducing 4 customizable dark modes: Soft Dark, High Contrast, Solarized, and Mint.
Say goodbye to the blinding white backgrounds of PDFs and tailor your viewing mode to your preference - perfect for nighttime reading or long study sessions. Works directly within your browser for hassle-free PDF reading!
To make it work on local PDFs, make sure to go to chrome://extensions/, click Details, under DarkPDF, and turn on Allow Access to File URLs.

- (2025-03-26) Brooks Robinson: Works great, and super helpful since every "darkmode everything" extension I've ever used doesn't work on PDFs. I've only had 2 minors issue The first is that the "soft dark" theme makes the scroll bar the same color as the track, so you can't see it until you hover over it. Second, the extension doesn't automatically activate when you open a new PDF so you do have to turn it on automatically for each PDF, but that only takes a click. But overall this is a super helpful extension and has saved my eyes while studying.
