Lets you record mouse clicks and replay over a user-defined set number of iterations, and a user-defined click delay. Works with dropdown/dynamic page elements and can record/playback across page loads/refreshes. Also records and plays back copy/paste keyboard actions.
Simply set your loop count (the number of times the script will run your click sequence before completing), and the click interval (default is 1000ms - 1 second - you can reduce this figure to click faster ie setting this to 1ms means the script will repeat your click sequence 1000x per second, or you can extend this if you need longer delays between clicks ie if you need to wait for page elements to load before a click is actioned).
Then record your click sequence, and play it back according to your playback settings, either using the button on the extension window or using the Hotkeys:
Start Recording: Alt+Shift+R
Stop Recording: Alt+Shift+S
Play Back: Alt+Shift+P
Stop Playback: Alt+Shift+Q
(NOTE: The + symbol denotes that these keys need pressing at the same time to action the Hotkey, not that you need to actually press the '+' key also)
NOTE: YOU MUST REFRESH THE WINDOW YOU WISH TO WORK-ON AFTER INSTALLING THE EXTENSION, IN ORDER FOR THE SCRIPT TO BE INJECTED PROPERLY. THIS IS THE MOST COMMON REASON FOR THE MACRO NOT RESPONDING/WORKING.
TO CHECK THAT THE SCRIPT AS INJECTED, USE F12 ('INSPECT' FUNCTION) AND CHECK THE 'CONSOLE' TAB FOR THE MESSAGE 'Macro Recorder: Content script loaded.' - THIS MEANS THE SCRIPT IS LIVE, AND SHOULD WORK ON THAT PAGE.

At least in my case my workflow is to click on a button and then click delete, looped 500 times. I've recorded me doing this 20 times but there's always a pause between every 3 instances on my 2 clicks workflow. Any thoughts?

- (2025-05-11) Christine Simpson (Christi): I've used these programs before, this is the only one I've found that supposedly works on Chrome and I found it simply does not work. No directives other than refresh the "page after installing" and although it does appear to be recording, on play back none of the mouse clicks actually did anything. Sorry, not an average user but not a programming genius either. Perfect the program for somewhere in between and I may be able to get it working.
- (2025-05-11) Bonnie Crabtree: It's a nice little tool. It does seem to be slow. I don't understand what the click delay means. Some basic instructions on the chrome store would be helpful. As it is, it appears you can only have one macro at a time. It would be an even better tool if we could record more than one macro, name them and select them from a dropdown.
- (2025-03-21) Reza: I know the thing works, but for my case when I start playback, I see the green circles around my cursor, but nothing apparantly happens. It doesn't mimic my clicking in the recording part.

- (2024-11-22) Love Tech: Great little tool - would be even better if it had a save function so I didn't have to keep recreating the macros I want to use, or so I could switch between saved macros for different windows. Also, maybe some edit function to change click delays per click, rather than a click delay for all click actions. But for what it is - does the job!
