- (2025-03-07) Andy Houser: It's not bad, but it definitely needs improvement. The most I can record is 7 minutes. After that, any editing or adjusting on the recorded video becomes unavailable. I saw an option for faster processing and where I could learn more about it. Clicking the link takes me to the help center with no further details on it. What's worse is the help center topics are either completely blank or don't help whatsoever. Next, I tried looking for a way to contact the developer with my questions and I couldn't find an option for that either. Overall, the recorder has great potential and I'll still use it. I give it a 3 out of 5.

I read all the bad reviews and they are just dumping on the developer with no context to the complaint. It took a while to sink in butt the record icons is because the app records the contents of your screen...clever. Stay cool Ralph
- (2025-01-07) Zoomcorder Help: I don't normally leave reviews, but this is slick and useful screen recorder. I've used it to download a stream-only video to watch on a plane. I also made a tutorial for my aunt with helpful drawing right on the screen. First free app Ive seen do that. Havent tried sharing feature yet. Not sure my aunt can do that.
- (2025-01-05) Bart and Ardith: Yes it's easy to use but there are privacy issues that should not be ignored. Where do the videos reside after recording and before download? If not on the local machine, does downloading remove the video from the remote site? If not, can the remote video be deleted, and if so, how is that done? The user should have control over the video from creation to sharing or deletion. Storing it at a non-local location not under the user's sole control should be cause for concern.
