Create and manage text notes for your web pages with ease
WebNotes Pro is designed to streamline and enhance your note-taking experience directly within your browser. It allows users to create, organize, and manage notes with rich formatting, tags, and categories, all linked to specific web pages or stored locally. Popup Features
The popup allows you to create notes directly on a web page. Each note consists of:
- A title
- Text blocks that can be formatted using the SimpleMDE-Markdown editor
- A Tag
- A Category
- The notes created in the popup can be edited or deleted.
- Quick access links for "Options" and "Help" are provided to navigate to the Notes Manager ("Options") and the extension's help section ("Help").
A "Show Note" button is displayed and movable within the web page, allowing you to view the created note.
Notes Manager (Options)
Filters, Sorting, and Search
- Search Bar: Filters notes by title, text block, or URL.
- Sort Button: Sorts notes by creation date, title, etc.
- Filters: Filter notes by Tag and Category.
- Domain Sorting: Groups notes by domain name.
- Filters can be combined for precise results.
Actions Menu
- Create New Note: Create a note with a title, formatted text blocks, a Tag, and a Category. These notes are stored locally without being linked to a URL.
- Delete Selected: Deletes the selected notes.
- Export/Import: Save or share selected notes.
- Select All: Easily select all visible notes (only filtered notes will be selected if filters are applied).
- Grid/List View: Toggle between grid and list views for organizing notes.
- Added a "Callback" reminder date feature to allow filtering of your notes in "Options" using the "All Notes" button.
Folders
Folders can be created to organize your notes. Notes can be selected via checkboxes or manually using the "Ctrl" or "Shift" keys and moved to folders via drag-and-drop.
Notes
- Favorites: Highlight a note in yellow to mark it as a favorite.
- Pin: Pin a note to bring it to the forefront.
- View: View the full content of a note.
- Edit: Edit the note's content.
- Copy: Copy the selected note.
- Delete: Permanently delete the note.
