• (2023-12-20) Olga Kharlip: 12/04/2023 - Beginning a few days ago, minimized view of the month on the left panel of the calendar started displaying EACH day enclosed in the white circle with "today's" day enclosed in the blue. I reported it to Google thinking it's their bug. Today I am seeing all days in that view enclosed in grey circles and today's day is not even highlighted. I thought it's Google trying to fix something, but when (just for the test) I disabled this extension - left panel returned to normal view, only today's day is encircled in blue. But in general I love this extension, been using it for years. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- I hope the fix for issue Kassia reported on Dec 1st 2023 would fix the issue I reported above. As of now - 12/20/23 issue I reported is NOT fixed.
• (2023-12-01) Kassia D Barnett: In dark view now it makes it to where I cannot see my calendar days in the top left. I use to could but then a few days ago it turned to looking like I am almost to blackout bingo all except for the current day.

If you could format the display to be smaller so that the save button isn't hidden it should be easier for people to grasp

For those in hopes of a customized image in the background of their GCalendar, this is not the app you think it is based on the "custom" referred to in the title. It will allow custom specification to the hex code on the google calendar page, but that's as far as it goes.

• (2021-11-09) Carol Gallmeyer: I love the concept but after a couple weeks of using this, suddenly my event details were not legible when I popped open a box. All the text had turned to white and I couldn't read anything. Upon turning off the plugin, everything appeared normal again.
• (2021-11-01) Nicole Jimenez: It has started to work again after the image problems, however, I noticed that ever since the image came back, I have had some problems with Chrome. It started to close itself, to check if it was the extension, I had to delete it for a couple of days and after that, the problem was resolved. Please fix this problem because I love this extension.

  Hi there, I have uploaded a number of images into Google photos. I want to transfer these into Custom Calendar Background, one for each month. I can get to the screen asking for the URLs to be inputted by hitting the icon next to the search button in Google calendar, and I am inputting an image into each month (after opening each image into a new tab, then capturing that URL). The URLs all start with https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/, and end in no?authuser=0. I hit the save button, the extension states that the Options are saved. However, the background image doesn't change on the calendar, and when I go back to the Custom Calendar icon, it reverts to a screen with the original URLs. Even after refreshing. Many thanks for any assistance.

  I don't know if this is even possible, but I was hoping to find a tool to visually distinguish my work calendar from my personal calendar. I know I can merge them & etc. but I don't want that.   Hello! I just downloaded this extension today, and I love it however now I don't have the ability to click and drag meetings that are 30 minutes long. The curser changes to one that has an up and down arrow, only allowing me to change the duration of the meeting and now drag it to a different day or time.   Hi, I just started using this extension today it is great on most parts and easy to use. I have found one bug or problem with it. When I am looking calendar of one of my collegue (search for people) who is using "working hours" feature, the non working hours are shown in default colour ( white with grey stripes). I am using color background feature with pretty dark colour so the white really pop ups. I would really appreciate if you could look into this problem and make the extension even more better.   As of yesterday (11/09/2021), when I would single click on a calendar entry, I could no longer see the details of said entry in the pop-up box. I found that it was due to a white background with white text when trying to select/highlight anything within the box. I further discovered that the only way (that I can find, anyway) to remedy this is to change the extension settings to a dark overlay rather than the light overlay that I've had it set on since you got this back up and running. It was working fine on the light overlay until yesterday. The dark overlay makes certain things a bit more difficult to see or read. Your help and/or input would be greatly appreciated. One last thing, I turned off the extension to utilize Google's lovely stark-white background, and even though the pop-up box is still white, the text now appears there in black as it should. Thank you in advance.

  Hi - I really like the extension, but it seems the recent update makes the text in event details turn white in the one-click quick view, thus the text (everything but the event title) is invisible. To see the text I now need to fully open an event or highlight it with the cursor. The quick view text does become visible again when the extension is disabled.
