This extension allows to use blink(1) USB light as a microphone status indicator. It'll glow green when your mic is on, it'll glow red when you're muted. It'll even blink when you're talking while muted.
You're in a Google Meet. You're showing the whole meeting a video, so you're muting your mic for a while. Now the video is over, and you continue talking, but no one is reacting. You realize that for the last minute you were talking to yourself.
