TIPS & TRICKS
At first, BrowseCut takes a bit of time to get used to. Once you build a bit of muscle memory, you will navigate the web faster than anyone, browse without a mouse and accelerate your work. BrowseCut is especially useful for people who do a lot of web browsing, or repeatedly use the same websites daily, including developers, designers, writers, HR managers, teachers, students, sales, marketers, researchers and SEO experts.
Pair BrowseCut with these default Browser shortcuts for maximum efficiency:
1. [Ctrl] + [T] to open a new Tab.
2. [Ctrl] + [W] to close the current Tab.
3. [Ctrl] + [SHIFT] + [T] to reopen the last closed Tab.
4. [Ctrl] + [SHIFT] + [A] to search Tabs.
5. [Ctrl] + [SHIFT] + [ or ] to switch between Tabs.
6. [Ctrl] + [R] to reload the page.
7. [Ctrl] + [L] to focus Address Bar.
8. [Ctrl] + [ or ] to go back or forward in history.
On Mac, use [Cmd β] key instead of [Ctrl].
LIMITATIONS
Browsers prevent BrowseCut from running on Chrome Web Store, New Tab and Browser Settings pages, by design.
Some websites, including Google Docs and Google Sheets, are coded in a way it prevents elements from being detectable. If you encounter a specific website where BrowseCut does not work properly, please let us know by leaving a support ticket in the Chrome Web Store.
DESIGNED BY
Inspired by Raycast on Mac, ThePrimeagen's Harpoon and Vimium, the BrowseCut extension is designed and engineered with β€οΈβπ₯ for speed, productivity, efficiency and ergonomics. Reach out to JD, [email protected] for suggestions or support requests.

- Awesome Idea!! Using the Browser with the Keyboard feels amazing and can be much faster. I love this Plugin and want to support it. 4 Stars only because it is not fully there yet: If there is a Modulo (PopUp), most of the times BrowseCut doesn't work on it. Sometimes "Clicks" via Keyboard blink, but don't work. Also German Keyboard Options (switching now is with the "[" "]" Keys?) are missing, and there is no solution for "Press and Hold" yet. Still - soooo good. Love it - still needs some improvement to be perfect

- Does not work

- Very useful thanks. A few suggestions. 1) I only discovered that I could start typing and then choose the resultant number via another website. It does say this in the extension - ie "Just type a word to click then press 1..9") - but somehow that wasn't clear. Perhaps "Start typing any word you see on your screen and then press the number that appears" or similar. It does explain it also on the webstore front page but often you install an extension and rely more on the info in there ; 2) A short video on using it would be quite helpful I think ; 3) With the extension information, it's easy to miss that fact that there is more information further down as the scroll bar is dark as is the background ; 4) BrowseCut has an option to disable for given websites which is fine - I wonder if it could also be done the other way around (ie only enabled on these specific sites etc). I know for myself that it is certain specific websites I like to use it on but not everything as sometimes get unexpected things happening and so on

- I am a mouse hater. I always trying to do everything without moving my fingers from my wonderful keyboard. I have used several browser extensions but the BrowseCut is the best (not one of). It is very intuitive by typing the words then select. Unlike most others asking me to type a leading key then select. This is a wonderful idea and it works very well. I high recommend to every keyboard fans

- Excellent! But for switching from Vimium C i need vim motions. Please implement at least the option to use 'jk' for scrolling and 'shift + jk' for switching tabs. Even when this disables the 'just type' feature, the option would be the missing key!

- Works great! Everything I could have wanted from a tool like this. One thing missing is the ability to alter the shortcuts & an option to disable the plugin for select pages. I am using a keyboard layout which primarily exposes special characters (!@#%) and only with SHIFT held, reveals numbers(1234). Because of this, it is impossible to use the "type to select" feature without opening select link in new tab. I also use a special homepage, which also makes use of keyboard interactions, but BrowseCut hijacks keyboard inputs. Would be nice to be able to disable the plugin for select pages.
