Translate other people's posts and translate your own posts on bluesky(https://bsky.app/) to promote multicultural communication.

This extension uses the translation API, an advanced feature of Chrome. Therefore, before using it, enter chrome://flags/#translation-api in the address bar and enable the Translation API.

Translation-api (local model) completes the translation process within your Chrome browser, so your written text is not sent externally. Privacy is maintained.

However, translation-api only supports a limited number of languages. If your language is not supported, you can enable an external API to perform translation. The external API can use the Google Gemini API(external API). Gemini supports over 40 languages ​​and provides a free tier (1,500 requests per day, 15 requests per minute). You can get an API key at https://ai.google.dev/.

This extension is a participant of the Google Chrome Built-in AI Challenge. Unfortunately, it did not win, but it will continue to be offered completely free of charge to provide a fun user experience to the world.
