Mass download of IG Reels is available, as well as mass download of IG Posts found by geo or hashtag.
1) Downloading by posts range: Saves Instagram images and videos from any post;
Click on "Mass Download" button and select "Download by sequence" option, then set range of posts to be downloaded. E.g., 3 to 200, thus all posts withing this range will be downloaded. In case number of posts is too big Mass. Downloaded for Instagram detects this, and automatically creates several .zip files if needed.
In downloaded .zip file you will find folders with content named by the author's username.
2) Downloading posts within set timeframe: Saves Instagram images and videos from any post;
Click on "Mass Download" button, select "Download by timeframe" and set the dates in our user-friendly calendar. All posts within this timeframe will be downloaded.
Mass. Downloader for Instagram also remembers date of last post downloaded from a user in order next time you could see the needed date from which you should download new posts.
3) Select Instagram posts and download them from any page;
In this case you will see checkboxes on all posts. After you checked needed boxes click "download" and Mass. Downloaded for Instagram will create .zip file with downloaded posts.
In downloaded .zip file you will find folders with content named by the author's username.
4) Safe downloading from Instagram;
With Mass. Downloader for Instagram downloading will never be considered as unusual behavior. The extension masks downloading under regular user activity so you don't have to be worried about your account safety.
5) The Insta Downloader works in old and new Instagram design;
Instagram is moving to new design of its web-page so we created our extension to work on both: old and new design. You may use whichever is suitable for you.
6) Bulk download of user's Instagram Stories;

- (2025-07-06) Flip Wild: Just doesn't work. I've used mass downloaders like this before and this one is just unreliable. The downloading bar will fill up to 100% then go back down again. Several times. As I'm typing this it went back down and is now stuck at '1%'. And then if it does actually download something it will be a zip file with just a fraction of the posts. Disappointing.

- (2025-05-09) Scott Allan: Stopped working. When I click on any of the download options the download button remains greyed out. There is also a "New" icon highlighted in yellow in the upper right corner next to the settings gear but clicking on that does nothing. I removed the app and then added it again with the same results. This used to work great so hopefully it can be fixed again. Will update my rating when it works again. Thank you! UPDATED 5/9/25: I found that the problem I was having is with one specific IG account. This plugin still works fine on other IG accounts so I revised my rating because for accounts that do not have download blocks (which I didn't think was possible) this extension works great.
- (2025-05-08) André Deiß: GREAT! 🚨 FOR EVERYONE who wants to give a bad rating, I made also the same mistake - READ THIS 🚨 First, you need to install the add-on, then you find on any page on IG on the left pane, the mask downloader icon, and then you can select how you want to download everything. Only clicking on the icon in your Chrome does not have any function except opening an Instagram page.
