- (2025-02-28) Austin Brown: I have a similar problem. Every time I restart chrome I see the "Add Kitpass for Free" banner overlaid on my Google Tasks for Sidebar extension. I've already added it. The only way I've found to work around the problem is to remove KitPass from Chrome and re add. Really cramps a formerly highly functional extension. Edit: Thanks for the interim quick fix.

- (2025-02-18) Betsy Hofer: Doesn't work! I have had google tasks for sidebar installed for over a year and now it forces me to install KitPass to continue to use it. This would be fine if it actually allowed me back into the extension. Instead, I get a popup every time I try to open the sidebar that I need KitPass in order for the extension to work. I've uninstalled and reinstalled both extensions multiple times but still get the popup. I wish I could give a better review :/
