• (2023-10-13) Michael Heath (Mike): For a positive review, the extension must work, this does not. I uninstalled and installed again and now I am diverted back to this page while trying to save a webpage. Yes I have logged in.

I can't log in to my account, but it acts like I'm logged in, and it shows me a functional-looking account with a grand total of 1 bookmark inside. I don't even have to enter a password to get into this fake/sample/old account. I can still get into my real account on firefox
• (2023-09-16) Laszlo Stadler: I find the premium prices ridiculous. I would be willing to pay 1€ a month maybe for them, but not more. This way, I've even lost desire to use the free version.
• (2023-08-31) Randy S: Long time user of Read Later & then Pocket. I have saved and read tens of thousands, maybe even hundreds of thousands, of articles via the app over the past decade. However, recent changes make the use of it painful and the Chrome extension particularly hemorrhoid inducing. If Mozilla were a public company I'd make millions by shorting their stock. Their obvious apathy and pithy attitudes towards the app are disgusting and vile. If I wanted to login via a FIREFOX account I'd set one up. C'mon man, get out of the 90s. I'd rather sign in via Pine or Tapcis.
• (2023-08-26) Pat MySecret: Seems to save well, but I feel a lack of privacy when I have to sign-in thru Chrome, Firefox, etc. I don't see a way to export except to social media type sites.
• (2023-08-15) Tony Sheldon: Completely moved to Raindrop after using it for nearly a decade. 101 lesson on how to ruin an app completely and make it next to unusable. The only thing it does is save some links. Beyond that there is no other feature. Tags are terrible, can't see link count, can't properly identify duplicates, export function is useful, UI/UX has been detoriated to a point that its buggy and uninspiring. No new useful feature has been launched in last 3 years and I was so loyal that I stayed till now. But time has come to move to much better and much more useful raindrop. Hopefully Pocket will understand what they are doing here.

As a result, I have switched to Instapaper, and the relief I feel is palpable. Farewell, Pocket.

• (2023-06-04) The Caretaker: I have been a loyal user of Pocket for over a decade, and it has become an indispensable app for me. I enjoy reading all my articles on it due to the various customisation settings, including the ability to change the background and font. Additionally, the option to highlight the text has been a game-changer. Regrettably, Firefox or whoever is currently in charge has made some inexplicable changes that have ruined the app. The latest updates feel more like downgrades, with only two basic background options, dark or light, and two uninspiring fonts. As a result, I fear that this app may have become redundant. Fortunately, there are other options available.

After trying to resolve the problem via their FAQ, no success but 30 minutes wasted. For a bookmark app, for real. Why? The extension shows it's on but essentially dead. I can't even log out of it to log back in. I have to remove the damn (note) extension from my chrome browser now and reinstall it, re login to get to my saved articles. Not good. An increasing waste of my time. I now have to double check every time I save something to see if it has worked.

I also use evernote, but scrap function is better than it. but i have a suggestion. i think there is a reason for developer not to make a folder system like evernote. of course there is tag, instead of folder. but i feel like there is only one way to arrange my scrap, chronological order. maybe it's more simple. But i think.. if there are two way to arrange, like time and category, it can help to organize things for user. like by making 2 tap, pocket user can have a choice how to arrange their things. one more, I want to change my scrap's name. its only up to aticles name, i want to handle it.   - Suggestion: Quick save services should be extended (I'd like to see it on Facebook and Feedly), it has only 4 services for a long time. Feedly should have it despite already having a pocket button, because this button opens a crappy popup. I personaly hate it, and I prefer to right click the article and Save to Pocket from there. - Suggestion: Clicking the tag text field should load up the tag list. Having to type is annoying. Instapaper already has it (by clicking the folder icon), and that is the major reason I migrated from pocket. - Bug: tags don't save. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. - Bug: can't explain, so I'm just going to give an example: I have a list of articles 1, 2 and 3. I right click article 1 and Save to Pocket, type a tag "weekend", it shows "saved". Now, I right click article 2 and Save to Pocket, the tag "weeked" is already there! So I leave it that way. Now, right click article 3, Save to Pocket, erase the "weekend" tag that is there, it saves, type in again "weekend", it shows that it saved. Then, I go on pocket... the 3 articles are untagged!
