I have uninstalled/reinstalled Twitch app, nothing it does not work. I have removed the extension, uploaded it again, cleared cache, cookies. Nothing. I did command F5, nothing. So it only works while I am on my laptop, and when I view on my phone no emotes. Can this bug be fixed. I sent a message to BTTV via email.

• (2023-10-04) Jeppe: Since the latest version and update 7.5.8 I am having issues with: "There was a network error. Please try again. (Error #2000)" on twitch using Chrome. It pops up on every stream and multiple times during an hour, sometimes it can popup every 5 min. I've tried multiple solutions to it, set my DNS, restart my router, reset my network card, clear my browser history (including cookies and cache), reinstall the extension, disable other extensions (such as ad blockers). But it all boiled down to betterttv. As soon as I disabled bttv the issue went away. So my guess it has something to do with the latest update and version for bttv, since it started around 2 weeks ago around the same date as the latest update. I've previously used bttv for many many years with no issues.

• (2023-09-10) Jeremy: Has some MAJOR issues. Having this enabled will cut off the side of your screen/twitch/everything, but ONLY in chrome. Also if you clear your history/cookies, even for the 24 hours, ALL your BTTV settings will reset. Genuis.

• (2023-09-01) Zeep: I like it/liked it. For a reason unknown a lot of users including me are experiencing this extension to start malfunctioning as of recently where saved vods BetterTTV twitch emotes don't work anymore if it's an old saved vod. But they still work on livestreams.

• (2023-08-03) Lieutenant BaconWaffles: It's a bloated package for me. I literally only use this to stop autoplay & nothing else, but it works. I do no use chat, so it would be great if it had an option for auto-collapsing it.
• (2023-08-02) Zullfix: BetterTTV adds many quality of life features that should exist on Twitch and provides an actually useable emote menu on Youtube. The source is open for anyone to view and contribute to (though not build sadly). The BetterTTV service may not provide the same experience as other emote services, but the extension definitely feels the most polished and feature-complete.
• (2023-07-16) Evani (JGGR): 7TV is better streamlined for emotes and multi-platform, FrankerFacez is better for chat/stream customization. I see no reason why anybody should use this extension anymore.
• (2023-07-05) Mazohyst: All the hate between the BTTV devs and 7tv is annoying. Just stop being a baby and work on supporting both platforms. Fix the auto-theater as it doesn't work anymore and hasn't for a while. This used to be the premier app but because of jealously it's turned into garbage. Only thing worth a damn anymore is the auto-claim and this is coming from someone who's suppported BTTV monthly since it's inception.Shameful.

• (2023-04-30) M M: После удаления помойного 7тв после их грязного обновления, открыл для себя что есть функция показа 7тв смайлов в бттв, кайф, вернулся в бттв. а есть опция выбора дефолтного меню смайлов? не нашел, чтоб открывалась сразу вкладка 7тв смайликов конкретного стримера у которого ты сча находишься, а то по дефолту там последние заюзаные смайлики :(

• (2023-04-10) Иван Иванов: I have changed several names to know that they are trolls and usually I see them with my change. Example, original nickname of some user is "nickname", I've modified it as "nickname (troll)" and usually I see it as "nickname (troll)". After recent (twitch?) update (yesterday) it shows in chat only original names. I can see my modification only if I click to "edit" username, but in chat it's still an original name. It greatly affects moderation process because I'm as a moderator check only messages from those suspicious users (that I marked manually) because chat goes quite fast. Now, it's gone. Please fix. UPD: it was broken by another app, fixed.

  I love the feature that highlights chat messages that contain my name. My suggestion is to enhance that feature. Background: I have a longer chat name. Most of the time people abbreviate my name, and rarely use my full name. They typically use the first few characters. The chat highlight feature appears to highlight only when my full name appears in a message. Suggestion: Allow pattern matching of name to highlight. An option on the Settings page "Chat name partial match" would trigger message highlight if the first half or more of the user's name appears in the message. The option should default to off, still allowing users to experience the normal behavior. Thanks for your consideration!

  Hey, first of all great extension! :) Sadly the settings of bttv are not being saved. Everytime I (re)start my browser I have to load my saved settings from the backup file to get them back. OS: Ubuntu 12.10 Any other Info needed? What can I do to help you debug this?

  Hi, first off; great extension. A feature I'd like to see is some way to hide the persistent progress bar in past broadcasts/VODs. As it is it's always visible, even in full-screen, which often spoils watching tournaments/matches which are best of 3/5/7 etc by indicating how long is left. Much appreciated, thanks.

  I like the extension and all, but I don't like the monkey emotes that i can't turn off over the normal Twitch Robot ones. I also noticed some lag on lots of streams when i try to run on high or source quality, I don't know if this is the extensions making it lag or not because it just started happening every so often after I got the app. The main thing though is to make the monkeys optional please.

  When I as a streamer press clear chat it tells me that the chat was cleared by a moderator and it has been prevented by BetterTTV. I would like to have that option available for my mods to use so that i dont have to do it while im streaming.
