How to Use autoKontacts:
- Open the autoKontacts extension. A QR code will be displayed.
- Open WhatsApp Web in another tab and connect your account.
- Open the iKontacts App on your phone.
- Scan the QR code to link the extension with the app.
- Set preferences for saving contacts (WhatsApp chats and/or groups).
- Enter a name prefix format for new contacts.
- Click "Start."
- Close the extension tab. It will continue running in the background.
- Once set up, whenever a new message is received from an unsaved number in WhatsApp Web, autoKontacts will automatically detect and save the number to your phone contacts.
How It Works:
- The autoKontacts Chrome extension scans WhatsApp Web for unknown numbers.
- These numbers are sent to the iKontacts mobile app.
- The iKontacts app saves the numbers directly into the device’s phone contacts.
Privacy and Security:
- Numbers are not stored permanently on our servers.
- All numbers are deleted from our server immediately after being saved to the phone contacts.
- If a number fails to save, it is automatically deleted from our server within six hours.
- Numbers are not shared or transferred to any third party.
