OVERVIEW
Lightning Autofill is the ultimate form-filling tool for maximum productivity and convenience. Tired of wasting time filling out forms and repeating the same tasks over and over again? Lightning Autofill combines form filling, automation, macros, text expansion with autocompletion, text snippets, random data generation, and form recovery in one powerful tool. FAQ
❓ Doesn't the browser already have an autofill feature?
🅰️ Yes, but it's very limited. The browser's built-in autofill only works with address and password fields, and you still have to manually select from a dropdown menu every time. Lightning Autofill works on all form field types (except file inputs), and fills them instantly with zero clicks.
❓ Can I automate things like clicking buttons and auto-submitting forms?
🅰️ You sure can! With JavaScript rules, Lightning Autofill can do pretty much anything that you can do manually, but much faster. Lightning fast. And it never gets tired.
❓ Are you tracking me?
🅰️ Absolutely not! We're big on privacy ourselves, so Lightning Autofill has no Google Analytics, no tracking pixels, no cookies—nothing. Read our Privacy Policy for details.
If you have other questions, our Discord and Reddit communities are ready to help.
PRIVACY & SECURITY
We respect your privacy. Lightning Autofill never tracks your browsing history or collects any personal information. Your data is stored locally on your device (unless you use cloud sync) and is not encrypted, so please use caution when autofilling sensitive information like passwords and credit card numbers.

- This is toooo much.... i used to have respect when it was free. but now i see a quite different phase. and now i hate this and uninstalled it. For every friend you refer, both of you get 10% off your subscriptions. Refer up to 10 friends, and discounts stack. Hit 10 and your subscription is FREE! If a referred friend cancels, you lose that 10% discount. Your discount kicks in on the next bill, your friend’s on their 3rd. Only subscriptions purchased through Stripe Checkout are eligible.

- 10 auto-fill per day for free and then you have to pay $5 (or $10 for so-called "pro") a month? Are you kidding? Sorry guys, your pricing is nonsense. And it's not such a "complex" piece of software to ask for $5 a month to use. I'm paying the same for my expenses and budgeting software for example, which is much more elaborated tool. Anyway, I understand that you need to make money and support development, but make it reasonably priced to justify the switch to paid model like $1 a month for simple functionality (no recaptcha). Or make free tier actually usable - 10 fills a day is complete joke. But for now, I'm off to a free alternative autofill extension :).

- free for 14 years and now pay to use.

- How about not spamming users with nagging reminders by repeatedly launching the entire browser just to nag about developer mode, especially when the user isn’t even using the browser? That’s exactly what used to PUPs. Stop spamming people!
- Ayush Chhanganni
- It doesn't work for my use case, I need to fill certain types of google forms and it doesn't work for me as its shown in their document page.

- My bad. Not sure what I was expecting, but didn't think of this extension to have a "paid" part. Plus, I don't think I'd want my form data stored on the "cloud sync" (again, I can't think of why i'd wanna do that) Again, my bad. I thought all this was purely offline, and nothing goes to some "cloud" somewhere. Anyway, I created my offline "Lightning Autofill" with a single sentence prompt. It actually requires _more_ code to make it paid than free. lol

- it was a great tool until they put money on it: now people have to pay . a good piece of advice in 2025 is to find other alternatives instead of paying the money

- Lightning Autofill has seriously boosted my productivity. I use it daily to automate form submissions that would otherwise take hours of repetitive typing. It's intuitive, lightweight, and incredibly fast—far better than other autofill extensions I've tried. The ability to create multiple rules for different sites is especially helpful. Highly recommended for anyone dealing with routine online forms. Saves time, reduces errors, and just works. Great job to the developer team for creating something so efficient and user-friendly!

- Finally, a auto-fill that works. It's GREAT!

- paid app, 10 tries is bs, didn't manage to configure it properly and got over the limit. For some reason i wasn't able to get autologin to work on TrueNas GUI login.

- I actually used this for a while but ran into issues on some sites… switched to QuickFill recently and it’s been flawless so far. Kinda surprised it’s not more popular tbh.

- This app is my secret weapon in my crypto automations. PRO TIP: Restart Chrome whenever there's a version update. It tends to act weird after updates.

- 10 forms a day are free. If you need more, you'll have to pay $4 per month. No thanks.

- It has a little bit of a learning curve, but it is well worth the investment. It has saved me TONS of time for years now. 2025 Update: Still saving me HOURS every week. They are adding new features and fine tuning all the time. This is well worth the subscription! They have great support on discord server as well.

- After a disrespectful act towards its user's and jamming up with my work, I've found a solution through one of the posts back when they killed the extension! I am so grateful to Derek McCoy! God bless you, man. "If anyone is after the old version, get it from here: https://www.crx4chrome.com/crx/361757/"
- James Bernoski
- Would be willing to pay a flat fee for this because it's a great addon, but 4.99 a month forever is too much for me. We already have enough subscriptions in this world. Also annoying to see them doing some subscription fundraiser to drop the price, honestly would just rather have my data sold then have to subscribe/unsubscribe whenever I need to use this addon.

- THANK YOU

- Once I figured it out, it's been my daily autofill tool and I'm always finding more ways to automate. I agree with some of the other reviewers's impressions of the free version, which I've used for a while with mixed results, but the real power is in the premium version. The ability to click buttons, run Javascript, and create variables helps me save tons of time on everything. I have nearly 20 profiles. Syncing it to Google Sheets is amazing because managing profiles in the extension can be buggy. If you can afford the monthly fee, it's worth it. It saves me probably ten hours per month, so that's $1 per hour. One last thing: it also pays to inspect elements and figure out how to write it on your own instead of auto-generating it.

- Best auto filler i've used. Fully automated my work tasks. Big thanks for developing extension like this.

- Works as intended. Great for job application forms that are repetitive :)

- "I did everything I could to keep Lightning Autofill free for over a decade, but as the user base grew, the costs became too much for me to manage on my own" - Tom D (developer) negative 600,000 users later, over half have uninstalled. Still too much?

- Cool extension, but UI of QuickForm extension is better and it is for Free.

- Thanks for helping me

- I set up all the necessary fields, tested it once, filled it out once, and two days later, when I tried to use the plugin again, it told me I had exceeded the limit and had to buy the paid version. I had barely used it — maybe three times at most. I believe it’s a scam that doesn’t even provide the promised limit and pushes you to pay after you’ve already set everything up. I’m not against paid versions at all, but I didn’t even get what was promised in the free version.
- Robert Matsumura
- doesn't work. generated my autofill form, worked for about an hour. the next day during the drop, none of my credit card info was saved.
- Joel Whitman
- Used to work great until they limited it to 10 executions per day. Now it's worthless.
- Samir Agrawal
- Works seemlesly. Very helpful autofill tool.

- 2025: The Freemium only gives you several fill-ins.. I will look for other apps. It's nice and can be used across sites. Start with Options. click the + button at the bottom to start adding fields above, fill them, and save.

- Why does it want me login using my google account now? The downfall of this extension.
- uf xy
- Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't。
