The Autofill extension serves one purpose: fill form fields automatically on page load without any interaction from the user. This is its primary function, but it can do so much more. Google Chrome has a built-in autofill feature, but it doesn't work on all form fields and requires you to select from a drop-down menu. Even if you're happy with Chrome's Autofill, you may still need this extension if you want more automation and power at your fingertips.

PRIVACY & SECURITY
Autofill does not, has never, and will never transmit any data over the internet. All data remains on your local hard disk drive at all times. However, the data saved by this extension is NOT encrypted, so any data you save remains in the clear, although it will remain on your hard drive and only someone who knows where to look and has physical access to your hard drive would be able to access it.

- (2025-04-08) Pat MySecret: 2025: The Freemium only gives you several fill-ins.. I will look for other apps. It's nice and can be used across sites. Start with Options. click the + button at the bottom to start adding fields above, fill them, and save.
- (2025-03-29) Leonel Salgado: Muy Útil para llenar facturas del SAT ya que el sitio oficial solo te permite 20 productos, con esta extensión puedes agregar a tu inventario los que quieras. Ojala en un futuro se pudieran categorizar los perfiles (want to categorize profiles) Desde que pusieron versión de pago esto se fue a pique. No me sirve el modelo de suscripción, tal vez si fuera un modelo de créditos podría considerarlo. Porque solo lo utilizo 1 dia al mes y ese dia necesito al menos unos 80 usos. Por eso el modelo de suscripción me parece muy costoso y prefiero copiar y pegar aunque sea más tardado.

Probably confusing for people with not much technical knowledge but for those that work in web this extension will be a huge time saver!

- (2023-10-01) Techweavers Techweavers: As a web development group and a hosting company, I can assure you that this is a terrible extension. Sure for some its a huge time saver, but with the amount of form spam that is being distributed around the internet, automatic form fillers are just terrible. Form spam is where advertisers spam your email forms with all sorts of garbage. So developers have had to create ways to stop this. The problem is that a lot of people like form fillers and they act like bots. So their form submissions are treated like bots. This means that actual valuable mail never reaches the people at the website because bots are blocked. What was once a great Idea, is now just more spam. So IF you really need to have that form filled out, do it manually, or on a lot of sites, you will just get blocked.

I believe the online charting system is complex on the filling features as it is the same "form" but different patient chart, and therefor slightly different web addresses, and some forms will never fill, some will fill occasionally, and others always work. I look forward to development of the extension to account for this type of diversity in use to work automatically as I am not comfortable manually editing the features I'm sure it's capable of! This is the only extension of its kind that works for my specific documentation and I will continue to use.

The hour I had to invest in finding this extension and learning how to use the features I needed (in addition to some rudimentary javascript - which helps a lot) saved me hundreds of hours. The developer has filled a desperate need, and for that I am grateful. Excellent work.

I have created dozens of custom form-fills across a wide variety of providers. Using hot-swappable variables has greatly improved my efficiency. I am hosting a Github repo that can be shared and implemented by a number of my peers (SOC analysts).

When it was free - it was one of the best out there to simplify my work, now you CANNOT USE IT UNTIL YOU BUY IT FOR 5 DOLLARS A MONTH! Apparently, the developer is too stupid to not undermine his reputation,reputation of his app and make it less mandatory (make a slight notification that the donation would be appreciated, create a patreon account - as any other normal dev would do). Instead, you just cut off functionality all together and I will simply find another autofiller, which is free. Do not recommend.
