This extension disables WebP images by removing them from the Accept HTTP request headers. Most websites will then load images in the default JPG or PNG format when WebP is not indicated as accepted by the browser.
Note that this extension does not help you download WebP images as JPG or PNG. When downloading images, the browser uses a separate request with different headers. This extension only ensures that original formats are loaded while browsing the web.

- It is useless, it doesn't help downloading as jpg or png, I do not know what is the point of having this extension.

- Despite the description already saying it doesn't help downloading as jpg or png, this is basically the most important feature the extension should have. So it's not useful, unless we wanted to know the things we're looking at aren't webp. This could also be read as a request to implement an actual "full conversion".
