• (2023-08-09) Dave Remmel: Nice idea, but... a) Needs to many permissions (read content of ALL websites you browse for a new-tab-addon?) b) very buggy (resizing and placing widgets is a big pain) c) Too expensive. A subscription for a simple tool like this, just to get transparent widgets? Seriously??? I'm happy to pay for good software. But for small tools like this I expect a one time fee. And it's way too buggy to pay for it.
• (2023-07-23) Rob Musgrove: I've used it for years, and when it works, it's fine. But it regularly overloads feedly, which results in no news feeds being updated, sometimes for weeks at a time. So your home page ends showing you headlines and info from weeks ago. I've communicated my grievances about this to the developers and they seem unable to apply any kind of lasting fix. So I'm done with it. RSS is a dying technology, anyway.

• (2023-03-14) Stepan Turitsin: I did not pay attention to the pro features and was happy with the free version. I don't care about transparency. Today I go and see that there was a terrible update. Now only the light theme is available, and the standard dark theme is only for the pro. Full-screen mode for news was also free, now paid, and there were ads. I will not write "return as it was", because still won't return. Just look for an alternative and don't bother with it.

• (2022-08-17) J: 6 years user here... TERRIBLE EXTENSION! Full of bugs on almost every single widget. RSS feeds never work correctly. Reddit widget is full of bugs. Same for twitter. Stock widget is even worse. Nothing works correctly. Annoying ads and sponsored google search. WORST OF ALL: Developers don't care, they never fix anything even when you report the bugs to support. GARBAGE.

• (2022-01-06) davey articuno: Extension requires with subscription of $4.99 per month or $29.99 per year. pretty sure there is a million other tools that can do exactly what this can, dont let the TERRIBLE/SUSPICIOUS search functionality for the Chrome Web Store get in your way when it only shows promoted and subscription hungry extensions like this get in your way. search on google: "site:chrome.google.com new tab page" (without quotes) and I guarantee that you'll find at least 20 extensions better than this that are free with developers who actually should be making extensions.

• (2021-12-01) Steve Blake: Not very impressed. I can't resize the widgets, and they don't seem to do what I want. Eg I can get an Android widget on my phone, which forecasts by the hour, is resizeable and it's free! On this site, which is ad supported, the one I want isn't. Etc.

My Malwarebytes kept detecting Adware from this extension, which it blocked every single one. Why is there adware in this extension? The customization feels very lackluster (No way to change colour because I had to pay) The weather app didn't seem to recognize 'United Kingdom' which is... dumb to say the least. The background doesn't even change which just seems lazy to me?

I have been able with the Pro version to optimize customizing pages that help me keep various aspects of my life organized with information a click away. I ran into a problem after an update where my customized pages disappeared but their customer service tech people were able to get them back and for that I thank them. It took a couple of weeks but they came through as they had promised they would.

  I had this issue before....but I can't find the email with the solution. I have both ichrome and ichrome new tab installed, when I open up ichrome, i get a second tab pop up telling me ichrome needs permissions to read offline. i click OK and i get a blank page. The new tab doesn't work, and the second tab popping up requesting permission keeps happening over and over. Please help!

  I got IChrome because it looked like something useful. But it has no settings other than the ones on the individual widgets that came with it.. like 3 or 4. No options for more, no options for visual changes... nothing.. just stuck with an not so attractive background and a couple of widgets. NOT what I saw and was attracted to! How do I get what was promised?

  Hey - Thanks for creating this, appreciated. I've ran into a bit of a glitch it seems, the Facebook widget is blank - it will not even display anything, just a white square. Within the settings option it lets me choose the size, but that's it. Help please :) Thanks!

  id like the top bar removed and the buttons to be hidden to add more screen space. i sort of dislike having to scroll down just to see the 'see more' button fully shown. should be helpful to those with smaller screens. and can you please change the button to make it something along the lines of 'browse from computer' or something? i thought it actually meant upload an image somewhere then use it as the wallpaper.

  My iChrome New Tab just randomly reset to the default. Now my important notes and to do lists are gone, replaced with blank default ones. Very disappointed. Any way to fix this?
