Speed Dial changes standard page to the new tab page with your saved bookmarks.

The Speed Dial expansion changes standard browser tab to beautiful new tab page with Visual Bookmarks.
The main advantage of Speed Dial in comparison with the standard page is that you can add the links to the websites of your choice so you always have direct access to them. And also you can sort the icons of already added links.
Our expansion also adds the search bar. The page layout can be changed in the expansion settings, you can also change the search engine used for the search bar.
Thanks to "import and export" function your visual bookmarks will not be lost after browser or system reinstallation. This function also allows you to transfer your saved bookmarks to other computers with New Tab Page installed instead of standard page.

- It just doesn't work for most of what I needed, I need many Google Maps shortcuts but it just wont open a single one so It's back to the standard Chrome limit of 10 shortcuts. Oh, and half of its in some foreign language! Just installed 'Speed Dial [FVD] - New Tab Page, 3D' and it works perfectly so this app needs fixing.

- I would give it a higher rating but for a couple of issues. First, even though I click the Cyrillic (?) off it still shows up in the search bar and secondly, though it offers me 10 contacts in a row, I cannot put more than 8 in.

- This is well sweet, I really like it installed it tonight i have loads of Quick Launches and sub catagorys. Ive put custom icons on all the links. This is really good. The only thing i wish it also had is the ability to open local files ie html pages and if some how possible a way to launch apps. This is very very good would recommend. To change the Icon you do it after you have made the Quick Launch you just hover over it and click edit.. To the Dev well impressed. Im disabled and this will improve my productivity on my Pc. Thank You..

- Works as advertised. Ever since Fastdial disappeared this is the closest alternative. It seems to work just fine. I don't understand why the thumbnail of the actual site doesn't show up as the logo. I know this is possible, however I do not purport to be a programmer either. It is a very well put together and functional addon.
