• (2023-08-18) Whitepaw Rolls: For a long time this was the best solution to chrome removing the apps tab, as of version Version 116.0.5845.97 (Official Build) 8/18/2023 this app is totally broken as chrome removed the flag that allowed it to keep functioning. Seems the creator has abandoned the app as well.

• (2022-07-25) Nick Barr: Love this extension. But I get some weird thing when using an extended monitor with my laptop: when a Chrome window is open on my laptop screen all works normally. But when I drag a Chrome window over to my extended monitor and click on an app icon, the link opens in another window (as if I had selected 'open link in new window', but I didn't). Any way to fix this? Just a bit annoying to have to always be dragging new Chrome windows back into groups.

• (2021-08-23) Jenna Yong: Loved it forever, the omnibar doesnt even bother me because i love opening my tab to see all my apps. i do have one recent problem, which is the reason for 4 stars instead of 5. i switched over to a new laptop, and now the extension only shows chrome webstore. where did gmail, docs, youtube, sheets, etc. go???

The web-page at chrome://apps/ might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new address.". It is very annoying and highly disappointing, especially after a review left on april 16, 2018 indicating that it still works

• (2018-04-16) Abigail Begenzer: This extension completely got rid of the eight thumbnail boxes at the bottom of my Chrome home page, which I was really happy about since I wanted to be able to see my new theme I had just gotten so, YAY!(: But it also got rid of the Google sign when you load up a new tab, so I was a bit disappointed, but, hey, it works if you just want to see your apps with your theme when you load up a new tab.

  I've been using this for years, and suddenly today the page has a black background and sites saved are small. As I haven't the best eyesight, this is difficult for me. I inspected the source code, and the color has changed to "dark." Changing it "light" was not allowed. Thoughts and recommendations?

  Having issues with this extension recently. For some reason I can't arrange the apps/icons the way I want. They seem to go where they want and they do the exact same thing on all computers.

  As mentioned above, when I Synced my Chrome to a new computer, the new tab only showed the Chrome Web Store app, but none of the others. I tried updating the app, but it didn't fix it either. It still works fine on my old computer. Is this a bug, or did Google bork something?

  As of Chrome 83, the URL bar is no longer highlighted when opening a new tab. Removing this extension from chrome restores this behaviour, but that's clearly not desired. Please open source the extension. (I did not find the repo after checking your GitHub page.) If you don't want to do this for some reason, please fix the above issue instead.
