- after the beginning - is low cpu. It doesn't let you edit the filter list (which really is hard if it allows a site to run ads and you don't want it on the exemption list). Better than the other one that I had (I believe it's the adblock unlimited or something) that was burning my cpu - running at 60% on and off where I didn't know what was going on.

- The last time this extension updated was July 2024, that's nearly a year ago. No element blocker. I get too many "disable your adblocker" notices with this.

- To say that this thing doesn't work would be credit that it doesn't deserve. It does work, it just works to actively make the internet harder to use. I get the exact same amount of adds as I used to. All it does is block websites that I've been safely using for years. Horrible service.

- My regular ad block took a dump. Google ad block? Tried this adaware and it's totally worthless. Doesn't do the job I wanted it to do.

- It does not block the Chinese site TEMU. It invades facebook, yahoo Mail and Yahoo Home persistently.

- Best ad blocker I have ever used. After a busy day online at the end of the day, the only way I know how great this as blocker is by the number of block ads, sometimes in the 50's or even the 60's, that I didn't have to endure. Highly recommend you give it a try!

- What's happened? It's started letting ads in and when I check in the extensions it's unloaded Adaware because 'The extension has reloaded itself too frequently'. Even rebooting my machine doesn't help. Does this extension have updated support or do I need to look elsewhere?

- It worked great for about 6 minutes. Then a Million, Billion pop ups returned to the screen effing up my browsing and answerring an application for employment. THey keep popping up and the ad blocker is not blocking borscht. I am underwhelmed. Sad...

- It won't add filters that I want, especially filters for Yahoo Finance. This extension whitelists anything Yahoo. Adaware white Iists too many sites as trusted. If you delete them, they will be back the next day. The block popup button functions on all websites not just the one you are on, and that's a problem. It should be site specific and it's not. This allows video ads to be played in the dailymail but when I removed Adaware and reinstalled UBO Lite the video ads were blocked. Adaware appears to have agreements with companies to have them whitelisted and you can't remove them, they come back when deleted the next day.
