• (2022-01-21) Tim Wang: This is by far the best floating player for youtube I have used. No sure why it stopped poping up as usual when I click to toolbar icon recently. It can still work properly if I click the miniplayer first, then click floating player. It will pop up floating as usual.

Im so glad something like this exists Edit: as of 1/9/22 the extension doesn't work until you refresh the page (when you click it from youtube the 1st time it doesn't work until you refresh [even queues]) Edit: 1/13/22 I am saddened to say that the new google chrome update now has this (well on mine it does) Though I have not tested this with other sites than youtube so its still good for twitch and others!!

• (2021-06-28) SpaceXplorer: This tool is exactly what I needed. I had switched to Opera for this, but I missed Chrome so much because of the way it looks. So I installed this extension, and it works as good as that! In fact, I'm using it right now while writing this review, and I love this extension. Just a couple of things missing though: one can only pause the video from the pop-up and nothing else. At least the video progress bar is a necessity for this extension, and I hope to see it in any future updates. Other than that, this is all you could've wished for in a picture-in-picture extension: lossless audio and video, support for pause and play, can be played even with Chrome minimized, and just about everything else.

  Will this app let me use YouTube's TV service on my desktop computer. I have it installed on my LG Tribute using Android 6.0 but I get a lot of buffering, so I was hoping to also use it on my desktop. I'm using Windows 10 and Chrome browser.

Namely to hide the top navigation in the floating window: header#orb-banner { display: none !important; } div.ipNav { display: none !important; } Any chance of getting this in a future version? Failing that does Floating Player reveal itself somehow so that when I can detect it and inject such css via Tampermonkey?

  I love your extension. It is such a great extension. I recently started testing out Firefox Quantum and the only thing holding me back is this extension. Have you considered making this for Firefox also? None of the extensions out for Firefox come even close to yours.
