Control your Roku with a web app.
Remoku is a network remote control for Roku streaming players, written in Javascript, CSS, and HTML5. This extension adds a shortcut icon to Chrome, that launches Remoku in a popup window. You can control your Roku after setup using the on-screen icons, or with the keyboard. See help.remoku.tv for more information.

Still works on modern roku just not the scan feature in the extension you must add tvs ip manually from the about tab in settings

It works fine on Firefox. Just go to remoku.tv and it's there and works. I loved it when it worked on Chrome.

The R doesn't show up which means you can't start it. There is no support or help of any kind. Don't bother! USELESS!

Doesn't work for me either as an extension or the main web site - manually entered Roku address in the settings but no response from clicking the buttons. Exact same settings in Safari work fine.

completely inaccessible. it downloads and i have no possible way to use the extension because theres no icon and it cant be used from the settings.

Although PAINFULLY slow it does work. Messy UI and settings...but it does work. That is if you don't mind it working unbearably slow. Roku will be coming out with another new app soon they told me.

Doesn't work with my new Roku streaming stick. Scan doesn't see my device's IP, manually entering my Roku device IP doesn't work either. I know I have the correct IP and am on the same network because 192.168.xx.xx:8060/query/apps does see my device and does correctly display the list of my installed Roku apps. Any ideas?

When it did work, it was great. Then it suddenly stopped working. It refuses to acknowledge my ip, it doesn't find my device on scans, it's completely and utterly useless. I've been trying to fix it for months to no avail.

Thanks for making this app, it is free and it does what it needs to! Many don't realize how much work it takes to make something like this. Helped save me when I lost my remote. Good product

Doesnt detect any of my Roku devices or from any of the TCL TV's with Roku built in. Even entering every IP manually, this extension doesnt work.

Fantastic app, the scan feature didn't work so well for me, but I was able to set it up with a manual IP Address add. My favorite feature is the keyboard option, now typing in passwords for all my apps and accounts is so much easier.

Cannot find Roku even with exact IP address. Then there's a great deal of tech lingo in "goodies", links to other sites in app do not work.
