Open multiple URLs at once

Description from store
Bulk URL Opener Extension just lets you open multiple URLs at once (in new tabs or windows).
Usage: Enter each URL in new line (you can paste the list or import urls from file) and click the "Open All" button. The app will the open all the pages in separate tabs or windows (depending on your settings).
Some of the options:
* Load URLs from file; Export links to file
* Extract urls from text (the tool will try to find valid links in whatever text you provide)
* Open in tabs, windows or group by host (to group your links in separate windows for each domain)
* You can set delay (in seconds) between opening pages
* Open part of the current list
The difference between this extension and other similar extensions is that if an URL doesn't include scheme, it will default to HTTPS. In other words, you may skip the protocol part for "http(s)://" sites and enter only the meaningful part. For example -- if you type "domain.com" it will be automatically translated to "http://domain.com";. All similar extensions that I tested required fully qualified URL which wasn't very convenient for me and that's actually the main reason I made this tool.

- (2025-04-22) J. van der Lee: I have tried several URL openers and I think this is the one for me. It's efficient, lightweight and easy to use. I also appreciate that you can adjust which icon to use in your browser. There's one omission, which I hope will be implemented in the future. That's the option to click or right click the icon to immediately open the set of URLs I have saved there. I think it's inconvenient to have to click 2 times now: first the icon and next the 'Open All' button.

- (2025-01-23) Eric Winter: Useless for my purposes. I want to be able to click and drag to select a group of urls, not type them in manually. That's no improvement over typing them into the browser field.

- (2024-12-02) J.E. Eggelaar: I do not understand how "add all urls then click a button" is any faster than just opening all url's manually in the first place. Useless for my needs. I need to open all url's. Not first add them

- (2024-06-17) Hope Zimmerman: It does what it's supposed to do, the extension is great. It has some excellent features. The way it's handled, however, is not great. Every time it updates it opens two tabs automatically which means that if you're working on something, watching something, etc, it gets interrupted as the focus immediately goes to the newly opened tabs. One of the tabs is an advertisement for another extension, something about some AI and the page says the bulk URL extension has updated and another tab that says the bulk URL extension has updated and tells you what it added. This behavior is extremely disruptive and incredibly annoying, if the extension didn't work so well and weren't so feature rich the annoyance factor would be enough to give it one star, as it is the extension makes me do two stars. Yet make no mistake, this thing opening up two new tabs every time it updates is the epitome of frustrating. No matter how good the extension, this behavior is absolutely unacceptable.

- (2024-03-12) Asif Raza: A very useful extension by all means. I must be using it for a year or so. For some reasons, it is not working today. There is no change in settings, extension is not opening any website whatsoever. Hopefully, our developers friend fix it.
- (2024-03-09) Jeff State: I like this extension's UI better than others, but the features could use an update. For example, if the user has a list of 25 links and a setting to only open two links at once, there should be a suboption that allows sequential opening of those links. Starting at the first two links in the list, BUOE will open those and save its position in the list. Next time it's called upon, it simply opens the next two links (3-4). This is extremely helpful in cases where research is needed (URLs in pos 1, 2), but then further research is needed — open URLs in pos 3-∞, 2 at a time. That's just one of my usage cases, but many others should come to mind.

- (2023-09-03) jim aer: Really great extension It never fails, but the only feature I think would make it complete is an auto tab/window closer. Basically, it'll just close all the tabs and windows but keep one open so it can continue to open them, so the CPU usage doesn't go through the roof and won't crash your browser. Conclusion 10/10 Just please add an auto tab/window closer if possible, but everything else works fine with no bugs.👍

- (2022-04-23) Talib Hussain: Fantastic plugin. We've probably put 500000+ links through this plugin and I can't remember it failing once. The only feature that's missing is the option to have a slight delay on opening the next link (1-60 seconds).

- (2021-05-20) Dennis Blessing: Where/How do you give it permission to access the browser history. It talks about it in the description but then doesn't include it anywhere in the app itself. I like to have my browser open up where it's left off. But if the browser crashes or one of those sneaky pop unders occur you lose all your tabs. I don't want to have to go to the history and click a bunch of links again and again. I will change my rating to 5 if someone can tell me how to get this to work with the browser history like it's supposed to.
