This is a beta test build of the MV3 compatible version of SimpleExtManager.
Depreciated MV2 SimpleExtManager:

The plan is for this version to be updated to the one linked above after it exits beta.
Then this entry will be hidden or deleted.
Also do note that the MV3 versions will NOT carryover past MV2 settings and memory as they have incompatible storage APIs.

- (2025-05-19) Nuno Gil: It's great to have this working again using MV3. In my testing it is certainly one of the most practical and helpful extension management extensions. The user has lots of control without dumb automations or "AI groupings". Thanks!
- (2025-05-17) Paul Edward: Words can't adequately convey how psyched I was recently to learn that SimpleExtManager won't be getting the mV3 axe/wasn't abandoned after all. THANK YOU! Dev - is it possible to create a Firefox version? I tried converting it to a FF addon and it installed without a problem and everything 𝒍𝒐𝒐𝒌𝒔 gravy, but it doesn't actually do anything but list your add-ons. Enabling and disabling doesn't work. Something tells me that this is an inherent FF limitation, though, given the utter lack of extension manager add-ons available
- (2025-05-08) Anoir Ben Tanfous: Thank you for not abandoning this project! I sent you a while ago a number of features request, I hope you will implant some of them. This far it is still the best extension manager, but there are some new chinese made extension who are rivaling with it and have some interesting features to be inspired from. Please take advantage of Vibe Coding to implant some of the features and over most make this more stable as it tends to reset itself very often and lose all the groups etc… I think that adding some sync of the settings via the browser internals or third party service like TamperMonkey does and some modern session managers so nothing is lost! it would be very helpful to have something even basic for the moment. On my side I am trying to work on something that would allow to manage extensions, userscripts and userstyles… and do everything from my optimal perspective. I lack resources to buy a new machine and subscribe to some services, but I am working on it.
