β¬β¬β¬β¬ Developer Message β¬β¬β¬β¬
πββοΈ As a solo software developer (and fellow tab-hoarder), I created Window Stash to tame my own browser chaos and get my laptop running faster. That worked so well (yes, those were my 17,000+ tabs) that I knew I had to share it with anyone else in the same situation. This isnβt a big corporate app β itβs a passion project, carefully crafted from my personal experience. My hope is that it helps you as much as it helped me!
π± Installing extensions can make anyone thinking about their privacy and personal data nervous, and for good reason! Many require permissions giving them access to a lot of personal data, often without much transparency. This extension also needs access to some sensitive data, including all your tabs (for saving them). To offset this, I went overboard to ensure YOUR data never leaves YOUR device.
π€ All this requires you to trust me, which is difficult if you don't know me. That's why I'm publicly attaching my name to this and inviting you to look me up on LinkedIn to confirm I'm a real person. I'll also be active on the support page for this extension and responding to emails, so please reach out to me if you have any questions or concerns.
π My hope is that this is just the beginning of my journey bringing you extensions that are high quality, useful, and free! I hope to build a thriving community to support their continuing development, whether that's by suggesting features, reporting bugs, or occasionally donating to the projects, enabling me to spend more time developing them. To everyone helping make this a reality, Thank You!!!
Happy Stashing! π

- I'm rarely leave any rating, let alone reviews. However this extension is the best so far that really help with my tabs hoarding nature that usually has 20+ windows with 2000+ tabs at any moment. Incredibly useful and works really well. Keep it up. Some ideas that I have in my mind: Saving windows with their names intact (not sure if this is doable, since I have never seen any extension that did that), and an option of "Stash all windows except current window" perhaps. Thanks for the brilliant extension.

- This works amazingly really good for being productive. Incredibly useful tool :) Hope to see more future updates soon.

- Really handy tool and I actually installed it on Brave and it works really well. The only thing that I believe had issue on Brave was that I couldn't close the Stash Manager Window once open. Other than that, works like a charm.

- Love it. These days there seem to be a few different implementations of history "groups" that are built into various browsers, and they have come closer to meeting my needs, but it's still tricky to figure out which groups I cared about, and sometimes groups appear or disappear without apparent rhyme or reason! This Window Stash extension will help resolve my biggest issues for sure. Ability to export/import provides ways for me to track, save, reorganize, etc. -- perhaps future features to build into the extension.
