The extension I was using before has been removed from the Google Web Store. I searched for an alternative, but it didn't have the features I needed ... But now I got it again!!!!! Converting a URL to a clickable link, in other words, you can use right-click on it, For example, select it, copy it, open a new secret window, paste the URL in the address bar and save yourself the hassle of pressing enter. You can open it by right-clicking and clicking "Open in Secret Window". This is really great!

  Hi, I have a suggestion for an additional feature. Some web pages include DOI's, but in an unclickable way. Typically, they don't have the full format of http://doi.org/xxx, so you would have to manually copy the DOI, add the address in front of it and only then can you go there. Perhaps your tool could detect DOI's through their format and turn them into clickable links to the digital object.

If you append anything to the "SE" part of the string, the behavior does not change, e.g.: <html> <head /> <body> <span>&lt;ReqVar source=&quot; varName=&quot;FOO.SER&quot; /&gt;</span> </body> </html> but if you change from "SE" to "SR", then it at least displays correctly, e.g.: <html> <head /> <body> <span>&lt;ReqVar source=&quot; varName=&quot;FOO.SR&quot; /&gt;</span> </body> </html> though it doesn't change FOO.SR into a clickable link. The case of the string does not seem to matter.

  I have noticed that some of the websites I visit are displaying a hyperlink of "and...it" or some other words surrounding an ellipsis (...). If I click on it the hyperlink takes me to http://and...it/. I turned this extension off and reloaded the page and the text displayed normally. I turned it back on and it is a hyperlink again. This is a minor problem but just wanted to inform you about it so that maybe the next update would a fix.

  When viewing in browser a text file that holds URLs, auto-identify each potential URL and render it clickable--either with single-click or perhaps shift-click, etc. I would expect imperfect identification of URLs (at least at first) but even 50% is better than none.
