The extension uses the length of your messages and ChatGPT’s replies to estimate energy usage based on GPT-5 characteristics. The results are estimates, not guarantees, but give you a sens e of your AI footprint. It runs securely in your browser and never sends your data anywhere.

- Very easy to use, non-intrusive design to my daily workflows. Very thought-provoking, makes you wonder if that AI prompt about "If I were a Potato - what kind of potato would I be" is actually worth asking, considering how much processing power it costs to spit out the answer.
