Help Your Parents Spot Suspicious Content Online with Dbl Check

We all worry about our parents encountering misinformation or questionable content online. Dbl Check is a simple, easy-to-use Chrome extension designed to give older users a helpful heads-up, providing peace of mind for their concerned family members.

How it Works:

Easy Setup: Install Dbl Check on your parent's Chrome browser.

Quick-Click Analysis: As they browse, Dbl Check analyzes the content on the page (like text, images, and the source) when they click to use the extension.

Simple Score: If something seems "off" or potentially unreliable (e.g., an unofficial source trying to look official), the extension displays a clear, low "validity score" via a simple meter.

Gentle Nudge: This visual cue acts as a gentle warning, prompting a healthy dose of skepticism without being intrusive.

Why Dbl Check?

Peace of Mind: Reduce your worry about parents falling for online scams or misinformation.

Empowerment: Gives your parents a simple tool to help them pause and question questionable content.

Simple Interface: Designed to be easily understood, even for those less familiar with technology.

Install Dbl Check today and add an extra knowledge check to your parents' online experience.

Just to be clear, this extension is not related to Dragon Ball. It actually tells you if a headline you are reading is from a trustworthy source or an untrustworthy source (i.e. propaganda from bots). Pretty cool. Works well on social media. My only complaint is that it needs more Dragon Balls.
