Squidule uses the Google Gemini API to extract schedule information from visible webpage content. Please note the following:
1. Data Transmission
Only the visible text (innerText) of the current web page is sent to the Gemini API for processing.
No personal data such as form inputs, cookies, login credentials, or URLs is transmitted.
2. API Key Handling
You must register your own Google Gemini API KEY to use this extension. The key is securely stored in one of the following ways:
- Local storage (within the browser)
- Or synced with your Google account (optional)
Your stored API key is never accessible to any third party, including the developer.
3. Usage Limits and Policies
Use of the Gemini API is subject to [Google’s Terms of Service](https://ai.google.dev/terms).
Any request limits or token restrictions are applied based on your own API quota.
4. Nature of AI Output
Gemini-generated output is machine-generated and should not be assumed to be fully accurate or comprehensive.
In complex or ambiguous pages, results may vary or fail to meet expectations.
