- Well it does what it says it does but without a simple way to save the image for later use -- like include on a webpage along with a link or print out in a brochure -- I'm afraid it is less than optimal.

- This is the first QR generator extension I've found for Chrome that performs the QR generation locally. The code is generated as an HTML canvas and the extension doesn't send your URLs off to any web service. This automatically makes it the best one I've used; the only major thing thing missing for me would be the ability to also generate a data: image of the code for later use. Very pleased with it, regardless.
