Description from store
Fake e-commerce stores are on the rise. They draw us in with claims of immense sales that end today and deals that we cannot miss, take our bank details, and either deliver nothing or deliver products of minimal quality that barely resemble the website photos.
This browser extension scans every page for the potential key signs of a fake e-commerce site, and alerts the user that the site may be suspicious. This is supported with a list of things the user can do to double check they trust the website, for example:
- Check TrustPilot reviews
- Check that images are not AI generated
- Check company location details match up
- Ask a friend or family member
The site can also be reported, and upon revisiting, the user will be reminded that they have already reported this site.
Online scams can get the most vigilant of people, particularly with notions of good deals and believable images and back stories. This browser extension is to help make the web a safer space and help users when their vigilance slips.

- (2025-05-03) Darren Jones: Great Idea! This is a really easy to use extension and the best thing is it doesn't try and do too much for you, it just alerts you if a site MIGHT be a scam - encouraging you to engage your brain and think before giving away any payment details. It also gives a really useful list of checks to make on any website that I've started using even when I don't have the extension (like on my phone). Highly recommended
