How to Get Started?
🔑 Just a Few Simple Steps:
1. Install the extension from the Chrome Web Store.
2. Navigate to any Salesforce Setup page.
3. Click the extension icon or the "+" button next to Object Manager to open the tab settings popup.
4. Enter a name for your tab and either a relative URL (starting with /lightning/) for internal links or a full URL for external links (e.g., https://developer.salesforce.com, www.developer.salesforce.com, or developer.salesforce.com — all formats are supported). Both name and URL are required to save a new tab.
5. Check "New Tab" if you want the link to always open in a new browser tab.
6. Customize the tab color using the color picker, or leave it white.
7. If your link contains a Salesforce object, the "Add Menu" checkbox will be checked by default. This will create a dropdown menu with object-specific links next to the tab name. Uncheck it if not needed.
8. Click the Save button in the top right corner. New tabs won't be saved if the popup is closed without saving.
9. Drag and drop tabs to reorder them, either in the popup window or directly on the tab bar.
10. If you want to transfer your tabs to other device or account, first click Export tabs button and it will save a json file with your tabs to Downloads. Then install this extension on the new device/account, click Import tabs button and choose the json file exported previously.
11. You're all set!

- (2025-05-07) Serhii Pryshchepa: I like it! I used to use another extension, but it had a number of limits that are resolved here: I can freely reorder custom tabs and quickly add the new tab via "+" sign, including adding current page. Thank you for it!
